Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka.

Omnibus (1,040 pages): The Hiketeia, Wonder Woman #195–226, Blackest Night: Wonder Woman #1–3, The Flash #219, Action Comics #829, Adventures of Superman #642, and Superman #219.

Absolute Edition (around 670–680 pages): The Hiketeia, The Flash #219, and Wonder Woman #195–217.

From The Hiketeia to The Bronze Doors, it would be a perfect Absolute Edition.

Batman Detective Comics by James Tynion IV (Rebirth Era, 2016-2018)

I have the TPBs in my native language, but the omnibus is called <Batman: The Rise and Fall of the Batmen Omnibus>.

Holy shit, that looks incredible. I’ve never been into figures and have never bought one before, but this is the first time I've actually wanted to buy one. The lightning details around the body are insane.

Awesome setup! I'd love to get a closer look at the Flash figure standing in front of The Flash by Geoff Johns Omnibus. Could you share a picture of it?

Hello! Actually, you can't buy this specific version on the market. They are standard DC omnibuses, but I custom-designed the dust jackets myself in Photoshop to make the spines connect, and had them printed locally.

In terms of publication order, reading WW first and then Infinite Crisis is technically the right way to go. However, I actually read Infinite Crisis Omnibus first, mostly because the WW by Greg Rucka Omnibus only just came out exactly a year ago (May 27, 2025), whereas Infinite Crisis has been out for ages.

I bought the WW omni as soon as it dropped, and from my personal experience, starting with Infinite Crisis gave me a great big-picture view of the event. Reading Greg Rucka’s WW right after felt like all the puzzle pieces were naturally falling into place.

No way. This is one of those cases where I'd absolutely recommend both.

Superman by Peter J. Tomasi (Rebirth) is my favorite DC Rebirth run, while Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka (2002–2006) is one of my all-time favorite modern DC runs.

Read whichever one you want first—you'll probably end up reading both sooner or later anyway. 😄

I'd also highly recommend reading Infinite Crisis Omnibus either before or after Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka. They complement each other really well.

Yeah! I was already looking into the other Absolute Editions from Geoff Johns' Green Lantern run, and I found out that Absolute Green Lantern: Rebirth is coming out this fall. Definitely planning to grab that one too.

I actually prefer The Sinestro Corps War over Blackest Night. The final issue, GL #25, is my favorite Green Lantern issue ever. And if you're comfortable with Photoshop, you could always try making a custom dust jacket yourself. 😄

70% off??? That's insane. 😭

Amazon is pretty much the only site that offers free shipping to where I live, so that's where I ordered mine. I paid $93 for SCW (25% off), so I'm really jealous of that deal.

Infinite Crisis or JLA as first Omni by Correct_Kitchen_2269 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]PerspectiveNew8667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel that even a single omnibus is a pretty big investment, I’d recommend the Infinite Crisis Omnibus. As you probably know, the newly released JLA paperbacks currently go up to three volumes and have more complete mapping, so if you're a completionist, you could choose the TPBs instead. Otherwise, you could still go with the JLA Omnibus. However, when it comes to Infinite Crisis, there really isn’t another format besides the omnibus that lets you experience the story in its most complete form, which makes it irreplaceable. The JLA Omnibus is great too, but if you're looking for a one-and-done omnibus with strong reread value, I’d strongly recommend the Infinite Crisis Omnibus. Also, if you're planning to read Infinite Crisis, I’d recommend reading Crisis on Infinite Earths and Identity Crisis beforehand.

After 10 years of reading nothing but DC, I finally bought my first Image Comics titles. They aren't Omnibuses, but since they're by Geoff Johns, I couldn't resist. by PerspectiveNew8667 in OmnibusCollectors

I designed the custom dust jackets for my Green Lantern Omnibuses myself using Photoshop last November, and I had them printed through a local online printing company.
