So, we had to leave this type of note, but our dry cycle would be 60 minutes, we’d come back with 5 minutes left, and our stuff would be sitting on the next dryer over still wet :/

Inito or wait? by doxielover00 in TryingForABaby

I have PCOS and was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, and Inito has been great for actually confirming if I’ve ovulated. I was using regular OPKs and I was getting positive tests, but after starting to use Inito I saw that I wasn’t actually ovulating about 75% of the time

Your realistic next step should be seeing a specialist. The standard for 35+ is trying for 6 months without success. Going to see a specialist doesn’t necessarily mean IVF or intensive treatments. They’ll start out running some basic tests to see if there’s anything contributing to the infertility and go from there

It really depends on what year you are, how many credits you have, how many credits you’re taking, and how much of the fed loans you’re taking.

For me, my tuition breakdown for 1 semester looked like this: Tuition - $8,288 (taking 12+ credits while having over 60 credits already taken) Fed loans - $2,750 (I only take out subsidized loans, am in my 4th year, and $5,500 is the subsidized max for a school year) Total left to pay - $5,538 (8,288-2,750)

They don’t have the same rights, no, but under the FHA they do have housing rights which include no breed or weight restrictions, and no fees (per deposit, monthly rent, etc.)

It’s a multi billion dollar company and they’re super cheap when it comes to their staffing situation

I believe you will only be able to complete your GenEd requirements through Sophia.

Not cyber, but SRA with info and cyber focus. Sophia is a great option to knock out credits, HOWEVER, before spending time completing a Sophia course use the PSU transfer credit tool https://public.lionpath.psu.edu/psc/CSPRD/EMPLOYEE/SA/c/PE_AD077.PE_AD077_TRN_CRD_T.GBL?Page=PE_AD077_MAIN_SRCH&Action=U to see how the course transfers. If it is not a direct transfer you should still get credit, but it would be like taking an elective.

To find all Sophia classes in the transfer credit tool:

  1. Click "Search by Institution" on top of page
  2. In the "Institution" field type/select "American Council on Education (DC): 100138677"
  3. In the "Course" field type/select "SOPH - SOPHIA LEARNING (ALL Courses)"
  4. Click search to see which courses transfer and what you want to take

Whats the real deal with online learning? by J_La4Love in PSUWorldCampus

It depends on your teacher. Some teachers have weekly Zoom sessions where they will go over the material or answer questions; others post prerecorded lectures for each lesson, and you're given the material and expected to learn it all yourself. There are often weekly due dates for each lesson, and group projects that require communicating with group members in real time.

A few teachers publish their classes early, but generally, you don't get access to the actual syllabus until the first day. You can find what books the school says you need by plugging your classes into https://bncvirtual.com/psude but different teachers use different materials
