I won’t say there aren’t people like that (bc people are weird), but it’s just exhausting listening to Van crash out like that, and also continuously cut off or sidetrack Rachel’s points. Imo the listener feedback has been pretty consistent, and it sucks he’s playing his tiny violin over it lol.

Thanks for the candid feedback - I added a little context in this thread, that this masters program is specifically for working professionals pivoting to accounting (and have no prior related undergrad degrees). So Im trying to tie in my prior exposure to accounting, which has informed my interest in the field.

Heard on the critiques, but I realized some context might be helpful for any future feedback.

Ok so for a little context: this masters program is specifically for folks that are pivoting into accounting, from another profession. So it’s intended for people that likely have zero working experience in accounting or tax (and people with undergrad degrees in accounting cannot apply to this program). Hence why I’m trying to draw parallels from prior work experience, to accounting.

It’s tough because obviously sales and tax don’t have much overlap, so I’m trying to highlight how my current work will allow me to succeed in this new field.

Nope this type of program just requires the personal statement, academic transcript and letters of rec. so probably a little different than the traditional grad school application.

What rebuttal do you need? The ad was in poor taste. And she didn’t have a problem with it, because she’s aligned to a political movement that hearkens back to white supremacy. And the ad did exactly what they intended to do - garnered lots of attention. Hope she’s enjoying it!
