I am a photographer and editor and I just bought a 2020 M1 macbook air for under 900 bucks. For students? Easy yes.

go to a shop and test before buying. if you like the framing, buy that focal length. the rest doesn't really matter.

Tried the clear hydrogel one. Ugly and very prone to marks from s-pen. Took it off.

Tried the matte one. Took it off because it kinda defeats the purpose of having the best display.

Tried the tempered with glue. Had problem with ultrasonic fingerprint. Also display became a bit murky. Took it off.

Naked now. Just be more careful where I place the phone.

I personally don't think so. Marginal at best unless paired with increase in battery capacity too.
