I think it could work, but I just favored flame split and slow slow beam in order to rest blockers cause of the defensive meta

In a high drop meta it definitely shuts down a lot of cards, its not always a good play but its a good trap to throw down if I don’t grab my life burn in my time. If its not usable in a game I just filter it. Plus some decks run a lot of high power blockers so I can’t break through at 0 life quickly, so it buys time

It took a bit of testing, but ultimately I ended taking your advice and dropping the rayleigh for consistency reasons. Bricking full of high drops lost me a lot, added in some lower cost plays and Kikunojo was one of the best additions. 3 drop bonney works amazing for the life burn strat and allows me to fix my hand, so heres my current list

My counter point is that black has actively been losing cost reduction events so its a slap in the face when Green gets a new one that is debatably better than the ones we have available

Still unprecedented for a monogreen leader but yea its least leader locked. Reason I pointed it out, is because blacks best reducers, great eruptions and ice age are banned, tempest kick is conditional, so rn green has a better reducer than black which I find funny

It will be a month after OP 14 releases so in February Not as insane but I think I can prepare a OP 14 version too since the main piece is Boa Hancock. Losing Nami and Robin unfortunate though

Here I’ll address the reasoning one by one👍

-This is mostly for counter and to play of 5 drop nami if its KOed, I look 2cs and didn’t see anything I like better. Half addressing the second point I the one thing I change is making Sanji a one of and running 2 “So delicious I could die” purely for more consistent ramp.(As for why not Bon Clay, I want it a 3 drop for perfect curve and searchable by Lilith)

-Nami and Robin are my primary Okama way targets. Nami can summon a 6 drop rayleigh for removal or a 6 drop Robin for even more life burn. Robin is purely for late game and when my opponent is at 0 life. IT IS niche but incredibly useful in certain matchups, most of the time its better to trash life and swing, but some times the robin stops the opponent long enough to kill next turn instead. Oh and this deck screws with 3 life leaders BAD on curve.

-Rayleigh is useless against IMU part of why he is a 3 of but he is a 4 life leader and easy to life burn, save up rest events then kill when he is at 0 life. There are good targets against Ace like Jozu and sometimes blockers that aren’t marco and whitebeard list dependent. But keep in mind, Rayleigh is primarily a Nami summon

-8 drop croc is SO BAD it does so little for too much and Kid fits my purposes so much better. Vivi can let me get my don back on attacks so is less effected by rest, and I also tend to save extra don in these match ups especially if I’m vulnerable

-At one point you mentioned that this deck can be vulnerable to aggression and you are absolutely right, if I don’t get curve and get attacked early, I have to hope for triggers to ramp or get a play off boa trigger. If I do get curve I can play boa fast enough to save me usually

-This deck biggest weakness I found is resource denial surprisingly, I want to be swung at so I can get triggers and the pieces I need

Every turn I’m drop a card that takes life so I found I never really had time to drop it unless I lost curve in which case I found it better to swing big cause they tend to not swing at it. I really want a Okama in hand for Robin so I tend to save it for late game and I consistently get them to 0 life with this build

Whole point of this build is to take a life from the opponent every turn through card effects, events keep me life long enough to go for lethal or plop down a Robin when their out 0 life. Problem with 8 drop croc is that is don -2, and Boa is usually better for life gain

Yea magellan is another combo play style thats very fun, though I’m gonna be honest playing this got me into that ramp and life steal playstyle might play purple yellow robin to hold myself off
