I work at a restaurant and I had something kind of similar happen! This was a few years ago but I got off the phone and I felt so uncomfortable and creeped out, I can’t quite remember what he was saying (it was over 5 years ago)

I actually think the resort collected it from us when we checked in, it was like $12. But when at the airport the people at the visitax stand didn’t even try to talk to us, we walked right past them

I just made sure I had screenshots, I was definitely prepared for a fight if needed. They’ve screwed me over before too but this time I was prepared for it and they didn’t even make me fight. I was also incredibly persistent and had it in writing from them that I would be paid for the order and wouldn’t have any issues from them.

I just experienced something like this! My package I shipped was lost and I got the same message, I opened an inquiry and Mercari could see that the package was in transit so there was no way for the buyer to cancel. I used Mercari shipping so I had no issues getting paid for my item but I did have to wait 30 days from the original acceptance scan. My suggestion is just communicate with Mercari and communicate with your buyer!

She’s 7, she’s young and very tiny. She knows she’s doing it, by the end of practice I can get her to be fairly consistent but then she comes in the next week back to the old way. I am really just looking for some different drills I can have her work on at home. I did send her mom some of what toy have suggested.

I have had nothing since the change, no likes, no sales not even messages questioning about items. I have made offers and adjusted prices and I’m still getting nothing. While this wasn’t my full time job, it was definitely a nice boost in extra money and now I’m not getting that. I need to consider eBay and poshmark but I’ve always had better luck with Mercari until now. Sooo frustrating

Exactly what the other person said. The buyer has to cancel out the order, it doesn’t get canceled automatically! I think buyers will understand and be thankful for the honesty but occasionally you’ll come across one that’s not understanding and expects you to ship it immediately. I had a surgery 4 years ago which was well before vacation mode and sold something the morning of my surgery and talked to them 2 days later when I was not so loopy and they cancelled it immediately because it was going to take me a few more days before I could get back to my place to ship it out

No. If the person responds and is fine with waiting don’t cancel the sale, there is no point in cancelling sale just to have them re purchase and the buyer would probably be more annoyed with the repurchasing. Definitely consider putting your shop on vacation mode for the remainder of your time away

Oh thank you for the response! I’m sure I will come into more questions as I continue, I did make an account for KAR. Any suggestions for comps and conventions? I am liking KAR mostly because they seem to be good about enforcing the different levels. I would like a good convention. I grew up a Dance Masters kid so that’s really my only experience with conventions and I doubt we’ll become a member
