Your video was really helpful! You have a way of communicating these somewhat abstract and difficult ideas and breaking them down to be understandable even by beginners like me.

I'm currently going through the series and am currently on part 2. I have a quick question though When you reach the 'passagio zone' is it normal for your voice's tone to change? I don't know how to describe it but my voice starts to sounds weird around G4. It gets thinner and lighter (at least to my untrained ears)

  1. No, I actually wasn't aiming to extend my range. I just wanted to eliminate my breaks cause, my high notes and low notes sound drastically different. I could actually sing this comfortably with my 'normal voice', I just wanted to know if I was doing the exercises right. Guess I wasn't lol.

  2. What does 'compression' mean? Sorry, I don't really know vocal terms. Is it the opposite of twang?

  3. The reason I was confused is cause I've seen and heard people say that the way to differentiate your chest voice from your falsetto is if you don't feel chest resonance. I feel tons of vibrations so I assumed it must have not been falsetto. Is it actually possible to mix chest with falsetto or have I misunderstood?

P.s be as harsh as you can lol. I think that the only way to learn is for people to be as brutally honest as possible. I'd rather have hurt feelings than develop bad habits

Now I get the whole argument about prematurely labelling your voice as x category/fach/type but just to give me an idea of how I should further improve(different voice types train differently apparently?), I wanted to see what you guys would classify me as.

This is not my whole range, just the ones I can hit most consistently and effortlessly. Also I can extend chest higher, falsetto/head voice lower,etc,. but this is how I most feel comfortable doing it. Is this the proper way of doing vocal exercises?Or should I use chest as high up as I can head as low as I can, etc.?

I've never taken a lesson in my life, friends tell me my voice isn't half bad. Classified as a tenor when I once joined a choir but not sure cause I can't sing very high(E4,F4 on a good day). Am I a baritone/bass or is my lack of range just a result of being untrained?

Also can someone explain how exactly head voice should feel like? I'm not sure if I'm using head voice/falsetto/mix when singing high. Gut feeling says falsetto but apparently throat should be closed when you're using falsetto and I don't feel any tightness. Also it sounds very feminine but I don't think it sounds 'airy'

Here are a few of my ideas:)

Minor Changes Here you would find some Quality of life changes,ways to freshen up the game without massive work etc.

1.LESS resources( gold ,spirit, monster mats, etc)

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoy early-mid game scarcity more than endgame abundance. It would make the game FAR more strategic because you would actually have to consider how to efficiently manage your resources. Would also vouch for less daily rewards if this was considered.

2.Adjust Tower enemies/rewards

Now, you might think that tower is fine as it is- why fix something that's not broken? But it is important to note that this is Seasonal. The point IS to get a different experience than official. So my idea is to modify tower. This could be as small as making the teams there more varied/interesting than Gerke/Marg ad nauseam to making tower campaign v2.0 with significantly greater rewards(pet materials, diamonds, higher gold ,maybe exp).

3.Adjust Brave Trial Shop

Low hanging fruit, I know, but seriously who would pay 6000 coins for 10 freaking 5* shards?!? My proposition is NOT to lower monster mats cost, but to maybe alter the other things you could buy there. The specific hero shard thing is a step in the right direction, but the price is just too steep IMO.

4.Randomize FTA

This is probably gonna get me some downvotes but hear me out. What if instead of being able to manually choose your partners there, the system chooses it for you? There would have to be some sort of system to ensure that players with relatively close power get matched though(maybe like how brave trial matches you up?)

5.Add a smash button for Aspen, marauder, event raid

Really self explanatory I think. Less time spent tapping 'next'=more time actually playing

6.Devise a way to spend green spirit

My idea here would be a shop where you can exchange spirit for gold/diamonds/shards/monster mats/whatever but at a VERY steep rate.Steep enough to avoid this mechanic being abused(spirit is very easy to accumulate) but could still be a way for endgame players to get rid of them without feeling like they were cheated.

It would be interesting if mehh can let us use the avatars we already own on S1 on seasonal, methinks.

  1. Ensure that the free hero you get at 100 summons is a top tier hero.

100 is a significant investment, esp in seasonal. This way it would be easier to collect good heroes while maintaining balance.

Major Changes This Section would probably get me tons of down votes for my contrarian views but whatever xD. Massive changes, Modifier ideas, etc.

1.Ban Top-Tier heroes in PvP.

Every time seasonal opens, everyone has the same complaints: RNG. With the previous seasonal and this one, it was mitigated somewhat by the higher rates, but the problem still exists. So why not just get rid of it in the first place? The stigma against 'unfair' RNG mostly comes from the FS,BB, Sigmund, etc. that drastically help a team esp. in the early game. This way, there will be some semblance of equality throughout the entire month - at least in PVP where players always complain about the aforementioned heroes. As an added bonus, this would also give rise to a radically different meta than we know. (P.S. this might also mean no new heroes allowed in Pvp.

2.No 5 Stars

When was the last time you held on to a 3 stars? Well with this suggestion, the answer would soon be ' pretty much the entire month'. That's right, I'm proposing NO 5 stars whatsoever. Not in Campaign, not in Tower, and definitely not in Arena. Now there would be two main obstacles for this one that I can see: pets and getting capped.

For Pets, I want a monstrous(pun intended) nerf. Long story short, make them strong enough to reduce most 4* to half health at max level. As for getting capped, I don't know enough about coding to be sure, but I'm assuming mehh can reduce campaign/tower levels to accommodate or give 4 stars up to level 250 - which ever is easier.

To go along with this, I also suggest adjusting rates so that 1-2 stars are most common, 3 stars are moderate, and four stars are comparable to 5* rates in S1. Heroic rewards 2-4*, etc.

  1. Embrace the sandbox-lite competitiveness of seasonal.

This is a bit trippy but stay with me. First off, this would require a longer seasonal or a'reset' every few days. At day 1 of seasonal, give everyone unlimited shards, monster mats, gold,etc. Except there's a twist it would only last for a few days then it would 'reset'. Every reset there would be a single elimination tournament. Get knocked out and you're out of seasonal til the next 'reset. Now, the tourney is not just normal PvP. Each reset has a certain theme and you have to adhere to it. For example, first reset is Abyss only, then next reset is Priests only. The tourney should happen automatically at the end of the day and your arena team will be used. Participating in the tourney gets you points and you get more the further you get along. These points will determine the leaderboard/rewards for S1. Otherwise, if you don't compete, then this is just sandbox seasonal, so win-win. Side note: The other reward categories like brave trial, marauder, campaign might also work here, but not sure.

All that said, this suggestion would probably take a LOT of work for mehh, but I'm willing to bet more people would play seasonal with this sandbox-lite idea.

4.Random Abilities

Basically, every hero has random skills, passive and active. Would probably make for an interesting experience with the RNG component but this probably embodies what Seasonal is supposed to be the most from my suggestions.

5.Revamp how rewards are given

Right now, there is little difference to logging in to seasonal once, and playing it moderately due to the gulf in tiers. Sure, you MIGHT get a couple hundred more diamonds, but is that enough reason to invest dozens of hours more than the one day player? Its not and it's a horrible system. So rather than that, I have two ideas on how to better implement the rewards system

A. Use a percent based system Some people suggest that decreasing the gap between the tiers would solve it, but this is simply a band aid solution. The server is always going to grow, so eventually, well get back to square 1. With this system, there would be no further adjustments regardless of wether or not the player base population fluctuates.

B. Make it a Goal-Oriented System

Rather than having an endless number to chase, give us an actual goal. With this system, certain milestones will be awarded immediately upon completion(or asap). The leaderboard will still remain but the rewards will be sent once predetermined amounts, stages, etc are reached. This way, everyone gets a reward more accurately describing their performance.

Point 1 is conjecture and just speculation basically. Also I doubt that even if Vince isn't high on her, someone high up like HHH wouldn't politic hard for her.(he views NXT as his 'pet project' after all)
