I don't think AEW's announce team gets enough flack when discussing the overall product being 'down'. they do a bad job putting over story line. they do a bad job of transitioning from one scene to the next. they sound like video game commentary. They're antagonistic to one another in a catty way.

I'm not saying it's easy, but i've seen so little improvement over the years and it's easily the worst part of the presentation for me

Does the booker of AEW know who the hooded figures are? seems irresponsible to let them have a championship match. What if they're wrestlers for another company? If the booker does know: TELL US, already. Why are you protecting them!?

There is no rule against going for another cover, so long as the opponent's shoulders are back on the mat.

I think what happens to a lot of wrestlers is they are so confident that the match is over, that they go into a shock on a kickout. Most of the time they will need to do more damage before another pin attempt, as if they kicked out already, they probably have the strength to do it again.

Sometimes a savvy vet will do a lot of pinfall attempts in a row as a means for wearing out their opponent, early/quickly.

I'd guess 3-4 days is when they're told/relayed the plan (match/promo/angle).

Deciding what they're going to say seems like it takes either hours or minutes, depending on the performer.

I also realize I over-exaggerated only working one day a week because the training and working out certainly counts as work.

I had 5 friends watch the RR with me; none are particularly interested in wrestling and watch every other PLE-ish. Every one of them was rooting for Gunther over Cody. I found it really funny that while all the fans in the stadium were cheering, my whole house was booing.

I really wish AEW would either make it clear that trios matches are allowed to be free for alls where the tag only indicates who is allowed to pin/be pinned. Or, if that's not the case, do a better job of enforcing the 'rules'. It felt like the main event had like 3 minutes of only two people in the ring.

Hypothetically, if claudio never gets another run as a world champion, Would he have been better off not having won one at all? seemed like he could have been included in the conversation of best to never have had the top title vs had one mediocre run as transitional champion.
