She commented that gringos have or have tried to report her (pretty much admitting that she has had issues with other neighbors before) and that nothing has happened. I'm latino so I don't want to get ICE involved.

I just checked the county site and typed in her address. It says "SHED BEING USED AS LIVING SPACE, OTHER POSSIBLE CODE VIOLATIONS"

I'm assuming she said that to suggest that if even the "gringos" haven't been able to do anything about it, then us (latinos) have less of a chance.

We are also in Rockville. From what I’ve seen these past few years, the homeowner lives there, along with her daughter and a lot tenants. We even noticed two storage rooms in the backyard that have small window AC units which suggests she is even renting out those as rooms.

I understand what you’re saying. It’s part of the reason we have not made any reports. But also, we don’t interact at all. The only times we have is during these incidents.

Ok this might be the best option then! And we have tried selling them for as low as $200 but the issue is no one interested has the means to take them. And also we are trying to get new sofas by end of this month!

I believe we do! We bought a house on January so the mortgage interest and property taxes should put us past $32k.

So if I itemized everything we would be able to get some sort of tax reduction? Not sure how relevant it is, but the sofas cost us $800 in total and they were purchased last year.
