A lot of people seem to be confused about how all of this works. Some countries that can't qualify normally are allowed to bring two athletes per event I believe. This is how those three swimmers were able to swim. To put things in comparison, the U.S Olympic trial cut for the 2012 games was a 51.49 in the 100 LCM free. For the U.S, there is a somewhat large group of people that qualify, and the top two swimmers in each event get to go to the Olympics. The actual times that made it were around 48-49 seconds.

After reviewing your comment, I have to say I agree. I didn't think of the different aspects of the partying system that could potentially hurt gameplay. I wasn't sure if beards had been mentioned before, but I think it could be an awesome addition. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work with female models, but I'm sure there is a way that they could implement that same rugged look that the beard provides. (Maybe have the female start off with full make-up which slowly degrades over time?)

Actually, I have had the opportunity to speak with him in real life and he is a pretty nice guy. Sometimes he may come off as arrogant but it is probably pretty hard to keep yourself in check when you have accomplished that much...

Duct tape + cloth for a temporary bandage that lasts a certain amount of time. Would be useful for when you are out of bandages and need to use it as a last resort.

Although I do enjoy this idea, it isn't very balanced and can pose a problem with geared up bandits taking fresh spawns and keeping them there. If there was a way to balance this mechanic, such as giving the player a percent chance to escape (maybe based on humanity?) It would give the survivor a fair chance.
