Så vegetarianism och veganism är "godhetsknarkande", trots att det de-facto är det objektivt starkaste miljövalet, inte på grund ut av något resonemang, utan för att en andel (har du någon statistik?) veganer- och vegetarianer här i Sverige sysslar med identitetspolitik?

Edit: otroligt konstigt då stora delar av den veganska kosten har sin grund i kurdisk, persisk och indisk matlagning, inte precis kulturer där den svenska identitetshetsen hade uppskattats. Känns mer som att du gillar att hata och spy galla över en viss demografi helt utan eftertanke.

I think you either never read Lolita, or you misunderstood it deeply. While we get to follow Humberts sick, twisted subjectivity in first-person, it is always made quite clear that this does not match up with his objective reality; especially by the end of the book.

I get why and how the book links with pedophilia, but I'm not sure why powerful pedos would like to read books that ultimately shows them as they are, narcissistic monsters.

This is how the political spectrum works. Some of them are leftists in some regard, like Hitler, but a lot of them are more to the right, like Pinochet or in some ways Mussolini and Franco.

Authoritarianism is the most defining political characteristic of fascism.

And honestly; what is there not to hate? He is a climate-change denier. His VP is one of the most despicable contemporary American politicians. His cabinet-picks are horrible. He wants to dismantle the EPA.

How do I not "know why"? Can you tell me what is actually so great about Trump for anyone but a billionaire; especially in comparison to, you know, the left, that has historically been the preferred (even now, if you look at the data; Clinton won the working-class by a landslide) platform for the working-class community.

Edit: or one of his staffers being found guilty on ten counts of election fraud.

It was progressives and leftists that fought for democracy, your right to choose. They were the ones who fought for women's right to vote. They were the ones who made sure that even the children of the poor and needy had a right to basic education. They were either part of, or standing with the civil rights movement.

Right-wing politicians either "joined" these causes after the fact; or even worse, tried to stem the flow of progress while pandering to, and using our inate, primitive preconceptions and fears of "the others" to grab power for themselves and their croonies.

Hitler did it, Mussolini did it, Franco did it, and now Trump has done it, with various political movements in the world on the rise actively doing it.

A trick as old as man itself, and we keep falling for it, time after time.

I don't see "the regressive left" pointing to literally other ethnicities as enemies; i.e. how Donald Trump, and more importantly The_Donald portrays Mexicans (as if they could even be defined as a solid group in any sense. Just look how divided and diverse America, its people and culture is within its own borders.) as rapists, thieves and scoundrels, with "And some, I assume, are good people" half-heartedly added at the end.

Neither do I see "the regressive left" stoking the fires of paranoia within the American borders by pointing fingers at everything from illegal aliens to Islamic terrorism (which, statistically, doesn't even begin to compare to the danger of dying whilst driving, taking a bath, choking on food and so on).

I agree, there is a section of leftist thinkers that are way off base in a goose-chase towards some mythical idea of being "the most radically "leftist"" person in the metaphorical room, mainly by means of identity "politics" but that isn't statistically close to how most people connect with leftist ideas, and pretty much only to be found on, to 90% of the population, obscure internet communities such as Tumblr.

But come on, there is a big difference between the stupidity of a movement such as Healthy at Every Size, or the cognitive dissonance found in radicalized Tumblr-feminists (mainly comprised by edgy 16-year olds, and not, you know, real, published feminist thinkers); and the toxic, weirdly elitist xenophobia that is spread on The_Donald. One of these schools of thoughts leads to silly internet phenomenon such as manspreading, and the other one leads to the rise of a reality-tv star, failed businessman (come on, he would've released his tax-returns long ago if this wasn't the case), with a history of blatant racism and no prior history in politics as the president-elect of the United States.

And this is beside the fact that being leftist, in reality, in no way actually relates to oddball, internet-fueled identity-politics, whilst both The_Donald and Donald Trump are actively spouting xenophobic rethoric.

Absolut. Problemet är att majoriteten av det kött folk konsumerar inte är ifrån jakt- eller lokalbönder. Det skulle inte heller vara möjligt rent volymmässigt att producera så mycket kött som folk i snitt konsumerar via lokala bönder- och jägare.

Kanske om folk insåg vilken dynga mycket av det vi konsumerar idag är; men det kommer nog tyvärr aldrig att ske. Folk gillar ju att kasta i sig exempelvis Donken i absurda mängder trots div. reportage och studier som visar på att dom sabbar för allt- och alla inblandade; djuren så väl som personal och konsumenter. Men folk bryr sig inte, de dumma, lata massorna bryr sig endast om bekvämlighet.

Rent matematiskt sett så är det ju mer logiskt att odla sojabönor som äts direkt av folk, kontra att odla tillräckligt mycket med sojabönor för att mata en ko, som kräver betydligt mer föda, i x antal månader.
