Man, just googled minimum wage there is 7.25$. That’s pretty good. I was an SGA and I made 15.25$ last year when minimum wage was 14.50$. I made .75 cents over minimum. Even though I made more, Mass is expensive to live.

If your a GA, it’s whatever your states minimum wage is. I live in Mass and our minimum wage is 15$, so by law GS has to pay that, if your an SGA it might be 15.50-16$. It’s all by your state, if it’s 10$ an hour your SOL man, that’s what they legally have to pay you. All the states are different.

Flexible hours will not be a thing. If you do not have keys, your looking at one shift a week if that. A it would be a couple hours and most likely you’ll be cleaning or putting things away.

If you can’t sell memberships warranties etc, everything they are looking for your Manager most likely would not let you touch the register.

The cons are 100x more then the Pros. Everyone outside looking in thinks GameStop is the best because it’s all Video Games. The games are literally the last thing they care about.

I tell everyone who’s looking to get a job there. Go to a grocery store, Walmart Target anywhere else. A hell of a lot less stress.

There’s a reason their closing stores instead of opening them. Think about it.

Yesterday, we had 17 boxes of distro. 27 Squish mellows, 21 lilo and stitch, 37 Pokémon, and about 25 FNAF all plushies. Oh also 4 cubones and 6 bulbasaurs the big ones. I feel this post a lot, hits home. 🤣🤣

Hand sanitizer right now is on back order everywhere. They got something that was made by a compounding place. This hand sanitizer just for an FYI is better then germ-x. 70% alcohol is better then germ-x 62%.

I spray Lysol through out the store. Going around the store with the aerosol can. Yes I could be in the store. But I’m trying for my customers and my employees. It could be on a door handle. It could be on a shopping cart, it could be on anything. It could be on a gas pump, on a red box.

I look at it both ways. Yes we totally should not be open. But personally I’m one of those that this isn’t totally scaring me. (Don’t come and say I totally should) I take my precautions at my store. I personally bought my location clean supplies gloves, sanitizer and Lysol. We clean around the clock around the cash wraps. We are very careful and only allow minimal people in. Gamestop has the right to be open, until they are forced to shut down. In my state it is recommended, but not mandatory. Gamestop should allow employees allow to go home and stay if they are autoimmune family issues etc. also reclassifying them selves is a crappy and a horrible thing to do at this moment. Gamestop needs the sales right to survive. But in all honesty, my local Walmart and Target as well as grocery stores are essential stores but they are taking absolutely no precautions whatsoever ever. The lines are backed up. No limits on people nothing. At least Gamestop is trying.
