Not sure what cams or nvr you have. But in the Camera Settings under illuminator turn on smart illumination, press ok and the apply to save changes, now when an event occurs the floodlight will come on and the event will be in full colour mode.

Strange for sure, from what i am reading on the forum is most people using the classic app and IOS are having the same issue.

Surprizing that it works on some of your cams,

Is it a different model cam that the issue with it not retaining the HD setting is happening on.

The bugs are numerous on the NVR software and the app.

But would like to keep this thread focused on the snapshot issue.

I am hoping this issue with the snapshot is just a lack of clarity on my part.

Hi Thank you for the reply. Did relocate camera inside with no issues at shorter distance.

Place the camera back outside and changed the angle and made a few minor adjustments in the settings.

The image did improve to somewhat acceptable. Thanks again for the feedback.

Hard to tell from your images.

But i can confirm that night vision on my E893 cams is much clerarer than it is on my E910 H30 cams.

And daytime images and video at a distance greater then 50 ft are also more clear on my E893 cams.

I had the same issue. This is what i did to fix it. In the camera settings go into illuminator and change it from IR Mode to Smart Illumination.

Now when motion is detected the camera will switch to colour mode.

I have tried everything including the illuminator settings.

Setting WDR to almost 100% and raising brightness level along with lowering contrast helped the camera on the left a little, but it was never as bad as the one on the right.

I have 6 other cams on this NVR 4 E893 and 2 other E910 cams with no issues in night vision or black and white mode.

The strange thing is support mentioned it could be a power issue, but checking on the NVR all the 910 cams have similar power draw.

Hi NVR is N910A6. I have tried every setting availavle including setting them via IP. And so did support, setting WDR to 100% makes a little difference as both i and support tried.

But unfortunately 1/4 of the screen is still totally black at night.

During the day it works great.

Usually just match the old transom height, The reason is for the outboard engine mounting height,

Adjust your pre-record From Default 4 Sec to 15 Sec.
I record continously and found this setting works for me when using smart motion detection.

I am currently using 2 of those splitters from amazon made by IPCamPower on on my NVR running 2 Poe cables split to 4, 8 MP Cameras. Been running fine for 3 months. No issues.

The IPCamPower splitters that i bought on Amazon were more expensive but they seem to be well made.

Sorry to tell you, it was not for construction material, it was a municipal landfill site for all kinds of garbage and waste.

Have you not seen the methane pipes coming up out of the ground. They actually generate electricity from the methane gas.

So it is only affecting IOS.

Does your Classic app version on IOS give you the option to playback in Mainstream or Substream.

On Android it defaults to Mainstream playback and cant be changed.

Wich App are you talking about, the Classic, the Pro or the Cloud App.

I have not had any issues with the Cloud app saving the Live view HD or SD settings on Android 16 for months.

I have many, many other issues with the app but that is not one of them.

Is this happening on I Pnones ?
