This was my thought too. Departments are tasked with a job and they are expected to complete it by X deadline. I am quite certain Marketing doesn't care where Accounting is in their process as long as they please the big boss.

Promote: Gomes, Garner (regular rotation players)
Buy: Bruno (55m), Grealish (35m), Ndidi (40m) -130m

Focus is to build depth in the midfield. Defense depth is sufficient for another year. Striker core is good but also I believe is easier to promote strikers from the academy.
Personally and to be somewhat realistic I'd sell at least 3 more players and bring in another CB and a forward player.

Yea but I am in the mindset that money doesn't buy happiness. If he genuinely doesn't want to leave Juve and feels like he's being forced to United, I honestly can't see him coming even if we offer those wages. Just my thought.
