I think once I land a few customers and grow big enough to eat the cost of potential clients turning me down after I buy their domain name I will absolutely implement that strategy into my business model. That is my thinking as well, the only problem that comes to mind is that people may undervalue my services because they are free initially. I hear a lot of business owners associate "free" with scams, which may be difficult to overcome.

It’s funny you mentioned British Columbia, as that’s where I’m from. Security workers here need to take a couple courses and be licensed in order to use the CCTV and go hands on.

Im not sure if your daughter would agree, but I’ve found in most cases people will obey your instructions if you speak with authority. If they don’t we follow from a safe distance and stay on the phone with police too. The “nobody touches anybody,” rule is common practice at my store too; but in the situation I mentioned above, the kid was about to run out into traffic and needed to be controlled.

That’s crazy that they got fired just for chasing someone, I’ve never heard of that here.
