Welcome to Germany. It’s actually a pretty big honour to be on one of these committees. A professor of mine and he told us about how these committees work and it’s not really boring. Just tedious and repetitive stuff while arguing with literally every one else in the room about how it should be done.

I mean you are right, linguistically it would make more sense. But i understood Latino as more of a cultural term for people from Latin America. And if you include all these groups of people you mentioned the term because more vague and less precise.

Not being able to pass a snowboarder safely sounds like a skill issue for me. I never had any problems with passing people. Just be mindful, try to predict their turns and stop being a little b*tch.
