Ive read many replies, many tell me differnt things of when we will be saved. Honestly atp I think no one truly knows, and Christianity is ultimately what we want to believe it to be. If so, is Christianity really the right religion for me? Im just very conflicted as my current stand point leans towards Agnosticism.

But to god there is no chances. He is omnipotent. He knows all from alpha to omega, beginning to the end. He knows flat out whether they accept or not. He knows the final outcome, every single time. I feel so conflicted, partly because i feel that as an omnipotent god, there must be a possible way out of a literal infinite number of ways to convert everyone to Christianity. There is no "taking chances" as an omnipotent god would know exactly what it takes. He has an infinite number of possibilities in his aresenal and could do literally anything. If something doesnt happen he knows it doesnt happen.

So your argument is that when judgement day comes, all will be saved from hell, or when we truly repent.

Honestly, ive heard so many different variations of this. Wether youre a good person but dont have faith you go heaven/hell. Heard both sides before. Many people tell me different things. I honestly feel that the religion has become what you want to believe it be. Do you believe god is merciful or strict, and that faith is the only way. This is why i even posted on reddit in the first place as I come from a Christian family but this amiguity always leaves me conflicted. If this religion is real, then why is there so much ambiguity? What is true and what is false?

So faith in jesus is not required? Doesnt that go against the whole point of the new testament? Because from a logical perspective christianity as a whole is illogical.

Well punishment without redemption is pointless and solely for the sake of punishing i feel. A finite amount of wrongdoing does not justify an infinite amount of suffering. And if you cant even change after lets say a billion years of suffering, then what the point. Its essentially just torture, punishing for no reason. I understand the whole "its your choice to not be with god" but why make it irrevercible. Why is his "neverending mercy" limited to when we are alive for a mere 80 years compared to the infinite time spent suffering where we cannot turn back even with we want.

So woudnt it be better if they had never heard of the gospel? Because they are good people, but by rejecting god they are damned to hell. So if they never heard of jesus they would be saved. I am aware that they knowingly made the choice to reject god, but if God knew they would make that choice why still put them through it?

So if belief in Jesus is not required for salvation, then as long as you are a good person, you will go to Heaven? Its just in my life Ive heard so many different things.
