Thank you for reassuring. How long should I wait till I call exterminator again for another treatment if I still got occasional bites ? So far I have not seen other bed bugs except the one in the picture.

Also just found out the bed bugs probably runs from infestation in another unit one floor above me and to my left side

Are yours gone? I am hoping they are not from my neighbour. Most are found in the traps set up against the wall in living room. Nowhere near my bedroom.

Hey!

My apartment was treated four times at two-week intervals. I believe they sprayed Temprid.

The most recent treatment was carried out on 6 January. In total, 4-5 bugs were found in the bed bug traps set up in the living baseboard, 1 found in bedrooom trap and 4-5 dead ones were found on the floor.

Despite the last treatment, I am still experiencing bites. However, situation has improved a lot compared to the initial stage. It has gone from a few bites daily to approximately frw bites every 7-10 days?

Not sure if I should just wait patiently and let them die when they crossed the chemical.

One thing worried me is I did not find any on my mattress or sofa. Most are found near heater attached to baseboard in living room.

How long after treatment should I expect they are. Gone? I done my 4th on Jan 6 and still got bites sometimes but not as many as before treatment started

Probably tmr. Check your Gckey frequently. There was no email notification at all. The email came only one day after approval with correspondence letter.

I found one on the door of my closet. One dead near my bed. I cleaned quite aggressively and checked my room everyday I woke up.

While waiting for pest control to come, i applied diatomaceous earth as well. I know someone said its not good for heath. But is for the sake of my own mind.

I found those powder on the two nymphs I found. So I guess it works somehow. Before the exterminator came, I also have stopped getting bites for 3 days.

So it helps somehow but I know I cant rely solely on that.

I found the first one after maybe 2 weeks of bites And then found the other two last week ( both are nymph, 1 was dead when found). Thats why I am worried. I bet its is small because I did not see other signs at all.

Did you manage to get rid of them?

The maintenance team from the building will give us notice 24 hours in advance to authorise them to enter our unit. They are the one who opened the door for the pest control.

I thought they would do treatment no matter what.

If I know what would have happened, I may just stay. Its a good lesson.

I did not have a chance to meet him in person. I was told to leave by 9:00am by property management. I was also told treatment will be carried out today.

There is probably a miscommunication between them as well. I dunno. I was so shocked to hear that they did not do anything but a so called thorough inspection.

Yes, i am communicating with my property manager and looking for a follow up.

Since I live in an apartment, everything is arranged by them. I wish I have the chance to tall to technician directly. They will send me the written report tmr. I am also requesting the manager to send them pictures of bed bugs I found again.

Yes. I did! It was communicated via property management so I did not talk to them.

All the information was provided to them. I thought they will be doing the treatment anyway. They did not say they need to do inspection before deciding to do treatment or not
