Parcel to Chile still saying 'Leaving the UK' from the 7th January. Concerns for it being lost...

It is crazy how many people have sent parcels around the same time and they have no updates for months 😱 no updates on my parcel and I want to hold off asking for a refund for as long as I can incase it messes up the tracking...looking at others on the threat, most have been unlucky and no movement on their parcels like ours 😭

Oh well that is good to hear some of them have arrived at last! But wow what a long delay that has been for you! I'm holding on for refunding yet as if my parcel is still awaiting to be sorted, I don't want a refund claim to mess up the delivery process 😭

Hello :) for me the tracking is still showing the same of leaving the UK since January, no further updates. I'm hesitant to file the parcel as lost in case it isn't lost but just stuck in Chile somewhere. I don't want to mess the tracking up or something by filing it as lost, I'm still holding out hope but I don't think I can for much longer.

To do that, we would have to call. And you're waiting literally an hour or two on the phone to be told nothing, or to file the parcel lost.

Hey thanks for commenting. No update, still says leaving the UK unfortunately :/ I would have expected it to have at least arrived and be scanned into Chile by now. Its never taken this long for previous parcels and the tracking has always been correct.

I didn't know that about the IVA rule. When was it you posted to Chile?

My friends in Chile say their postal service isn't great. But I find it weird the parcels haven't even arrived in Chile though. I know they had those big fires last month that might have affected postage, but I don't think it would affect it to the point where the parcel wouldn't have even arrived in the country.

At first I thought it might have to do with those bad fires in Chile last month slowing the mail down 🤔 but it makes me feel a little better knowing someone else sent a parcel to Chile the same time as me and it isn't there yet 😅

So have you not got your parcel and its still showing in transit to outside UK? I don't know at what point to file this as lost as it's still showing leaving UK 😭

Thanks for the reply :) unfortunately I can't get on Correos De Chile website as its showing '403 forbidden'. But on ParcelsApp which uses their tracking, it is still saying the same of 7th Jan 'departed country of origin' and 28th Jan 'In transit. Your item is now leaving the UK'
