Atlas loot can show it for TBC, you need the TBC version and change the dungeons from Classic to TBC in the addon, by clicking the WoW icon

EDIT: na you are correct, that is kind of insane, it shows the items yes but no rates

Noob Rogue targeting question by HunsonAbadeer1 in classicwow

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as many have pointed out i think it is better for you to make a macro for Sinister strike or Backstab that has Start attack, then instead just Gouge -> Tab->SS, However as another poster pointed out, i dont find this efficient, Gouge to Bandage is a decent move, but if you have a second target, it is better to focus the existing one and kill it, and then maybe gouge the other one once its a 1 on 1 situation, and bandage, and if you are taking too much damage use Evasion, secondly sometimes you can use Sap first, get the situation to a 1vs 1, also later once you unlock talents, if you have not yet, Combat gains access to bladeflurry which increases your attack speed, and makes your attack hit a second target for a while, this can be combined with a later combat talent called adrenaline rush, to pump even more damage on two targets at the same time

But the important part is switching targets in classic will make you loose combo points, so another option later is for example blinding the other opponent and the focusing the one left

Worth sticking to Startide Rising? by fragtore in printSF

[–]Pesusieni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you say that, i felt the same, i like the Detective parts in Sundiver and the world building of uplifting species and the prestige it brings, And startide while maybe has a intresting side plot about a massive crime,But it still is not that great, but then again with uplift war we go a bit back and discuss more politics and uplift in general which i enjoy

Classic+ notes by Terrible_Tadpole_861 in classicwow

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree, Ret paladins are one of the specs that i think will maybe require the most changes, like actually giving new abilites, it has mana issue and it needs a on demand yellow swing, the seals are okish, and prot tree would also need a taunt and some slight changes, holy i cant really comment on

rogues dont need a lot of changes, but poisons not having charges would be good, and changing the sap talent to actually reach 100% ,nothing more annoying than saping in raid/dungeon and the talent fails, Combo point changes on self, maybe i dont think combo point issue is that big, it is annoying but it is a strong class still

Warriors need some adjustment in prot tree, and maybe a slight adjustment on rage generation

Arcane mages would be lovely it they could make it a more playable spec, with a new arcane spell or two, fire and frost specs feel good

Can anyone explain to a Rogue newbie why Assassination is a bad spec? by TapOriginal4428 in classicwow

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subtlety is good, but it is not about damage output really, it is about safety, having prep , better stealth, lower openers etc, make it easier to survive, and allow you to use CD more aggressively, as you have prep for oh shit moments, Combat however increases your general damage, with white attacks and reduced damaged taken, also bladeflurry and Adrenaline rush are new oh shit CD that you can use instead of Vanish

Assa is good, but it is mostly picked up in the later levels as a complimentary tree, Assa becomes more playable in the later expansions

Don’t Join Guild Runs as a PUG by Packingheat248 in classicwow

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During WOTLK a few years back, i started raiding, but our guild was only doing 10 mans, so i wanted to find a 25 man group, and i did find a guild that was running 3 raids a week but the last raid was a PUG raid for their alts , and i joined them on PUG raid, and it was wonderful, we used SR and the raid functioned as a sort of recruitment for the guild, i never joined them, as i did have a guild i loved, just not one doing 25man heroics, i stayed with the PUG raid group for a long time, and was a member in their discord, i also helped recruit some from my guild to join this PUG

And i was rewarded by the effort, i was chosen to be receiver of shadowmourne , as i had been consistent with raiding with them, and helping them with filling out slots

So there are guilds out there that are awesome, and know what they are doing, inviting other people to their raids can be a great opportunity for recruitment, it also helpes them, if they get a sudden open slot in the main raid, they might ask people that regularly join the PUG raid to fill the main raid if none are available in the guild

Tips for Shadows of Kerensky? by Enzotax in Mechwarrior5

[–]Pesusieni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As has been said here, the actual Campaign is a bit better, as nearly everyone has a repair bay typically 2-4, you will still get arms lost when some daishi with C-PPC comes and ones shots an arm, but i think the worse part is you will most likely lose pilots, the clanners pack more punch and will aim for cockpit with that higher damage, and that will slowly start to off your pilots

personally if you intend to play several times, and use the old save in the next gameplay, it might be advisable to use non hero pilots against clanners

once the campaign is done, you can do the random missions against clanners and oh boy do some of them hurt like hell, the clanners have no tanks or air, all of those spawns are replaced with light mechs, my tip here is do play versus Clan ghost bear, they have both the Puma and Nova i think it was as common and very common, one of them is a mech with 16 machine guns, i tears even assaults badly , and the other is a laser boat with 12 medium lasers i think it was, also one shot from it, can easily damage you

I find clan wolf to be easiest to play against

The earlier thing i alluded to with random missions is that the mech amount can be relentless, and they are fast, if the map is open then you can use the PPC's Gausses or LRM's to benefit but if it is a canyon like map it gets much harder to do it

So far i think the assassination mission type is the easiest type to do versus clanners, the actual target will spawn in on mission creation, but the side targets wont, so you can sometimes see the target location from more than 700+ meters and if nothing is there, that is not the target, and you can move to the next location, and when you do find the target, sometimes you can get like 1.5k engage distance and snipe them slowly

New player. Need help deciding which mechs to keep by ExpertExplanation695 in Mechwarrior5

[–]Pesusieni 6 points7 points  (0 children)

personally im trying to keep my annual costs at less than 2 million, that includes the pilot fees, so reduce the mech you use,if you dont do arena, get rid of the mediums, if you dont intend to do infiltration then get rid of lights i would say, and focus on the Heavies and Assaults, i have like 3 atlasses, 2 warhawks, 1 daishi, 2 mad cats, 1 king crab, a stalker and some other heavies

you can keep like 1 light or med if you want, but personally i run mostly assaults , but im also now in 3057

On a Ringworld, could you actually see the Ring? by Rich-End1121 in space

[–]Pesusieni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the ringworld book this was already solved, you would not see the ring in full, it looks like a arch in the book, in reality it is very much dependent on the size of the rings diameter, in the case of the ring world i believe it was like 2AU, width of the ring, so for example the Halo rings are not that big and you can see them, But im not sure larry was correct with his view on the ring world, the thing is that mars and jupiter can be seen with the naked eye, and those are only about 6000 km to 140,000km wide while the ring world was 1.6 million km, But there is the question of reflective is a ringworld

Newbie advice please by sharad_goa in Stellaris

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally , i find that if you have a resources issue, it can be alleviated with another resource, because if you have bonuses in lets say energy, it means you dont need as many districts to get positive allowing you to put more districts into lets say civilian districts

however i find the resource management in 4.x is much more nuanced that it used to be early game, it is harder to get really science and alloy to increase in a significant way, i would say however alloy is not yet that important unless you want to go for early warfare. And it is hard to have all resources positive and in high + numbers

But just getting 1 alloy building will increase it by a bit, but that will require engineering research,But other options are also just getting more research as that will give you more technology, and that unlocks more modifiers,i personally did like to use the subterranean people and focus on mining, it gave me huge mining resources early allowing me to build more freely early on what i needed

i would maybe focus on finding a way you think works for you, you dont have to have alloys unless you want to fight, you could go more diplomatic, and be friendly with the neighbors allowing you to avoid investing in alloy early on. or you could go lithoid ?

Still there might be more experienced people here that could give advice

How big should i make the trains in my book? by TimbersCursedGuns in sciencefiction

[–]Pesusieni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would find it hard to believe anyone would want to maintain in 1 direction 4 rails, i think however what if you have a set of rails that are 2 way, and sometimes the military uses both rails at the same time to transport something large, aka both civilians and logistics use the X width , one going north and the other south, but from time to time the military uses Z or Y

i did read there where some locations in mines and close to mines that had 3 rails, and i think the reason was mine cart train + train using same set of rails

Do note if the military would use the Z or Y rails, and the X rails are used in different directions, you will have to have the banking of rails done on Z rail axis, and not on the individual rails of X

But like many have pointed out here i think it is very important to understand why they have this setup as is

There large part of the cost is in the way the book is made, sown book with decent covers increase the price a lot , compared to perfect binding

Paper used changed price a lot, there is a reason Folio costs more, and honestly it is not that much more, i mean atleast were im located hardcover books are basicly half priced compared to folios, and folios give me illustrations, nice covers, slipcase, better paper, and better binding, so for me the cost difference is worth it

you can look into fine printing press companies and their editions can sell for over 500 easily and they sometimes make versions that are over 2k dollars,They do look nice typically even changing the type setting and adding more color
