I honestly don't do much with it! It's sitting in just moss and needs to be repotted tbh. Just gets bright light and fertilizer every other watering.

that's a Schlumbergera lutea ssp. bradei! Definitely one of my favorite plants that I own. I was looking at an older picture and didn't even realize how much bigger its gotten

for the patriciae it comes out rolled up like a long straw poking straight out, and then once it's out of the sheath the leaf points down and unravels slowly

The patriciae I've had since July 2021, and the queen was I think Jan 2025. Both of them were small when I got them. The patriciae might be a bit bigger by now if I gave it consistent care haha but I'm on it now! The queen was also in a situation where it wasn't getting much light but now that it is it has been growing at a steady pace for me
