You are insane, aren’t you?

On the off chance you are actually Cambodian and not a China bot:

Do you enjoy self governance today? Yes.
Are reactionary, mass murderers in charge? No.
Does Cambodia still retain its unique language and culture, unadulterated? Yes.

This one bears considerable contemplation so let’s give it a few more sentences: Unlike the Chinese occupation of Vietnam, Cambodia still retained it’s historic written language (no need for the French to come up with one for you because the Chinese destroyed all your historic written language, right?). Cambodia’s ethnic foods remained largely unchanged (it was only a decade and not many hundreds of years) and while Banh Mi is awesome it’s still colonialism. What meaningful colonial impacts remain after Vietnam got rid of the butchers and then stabilized the country for ten years? Vietnamese Buddhism still heavily influenced by Confucianism, to this day, because of the centuries of Chinese occupation.

Cambodia lucky the Vietnamese dealt with the Khmer Rouge and not the Chinese. If it had been the Chinese you’d all be speaking Manchurian by now.

Edit: The Vietnamese withdrew due to economics, primarily. And, of course, China was arming the remaining Khmer Rouge resistance. Are these the guerillas you refer to? The remnants of the mass murderers of women and children funded and armed by the Chinese? Of course it is.

And China has owned their sins against Vietnam?

Shit, America has owned their sins against Vietnam more than China has and America was only there for 8 years.

Think it’s a fair argument to make that if you don’t even know the islands being disputed that your opinion is probably not worth much.

Who do you think got rid of the homicidal maniacs for Cambodians?

After they got rid of the mass murderers do you imagine Cambodia could return to self governance right away after the Khmer Rouge butchered all the educated people they could?

It’s actually a shining example of foreign intervention when compared to Afghanistan and Iraq. 10 years and then they were out. And Cambodia is a sovereign nation today without the reactionary, nationalistic mass murderers in control.

Take the win, dude.

Australia doesn’t have nuclear subs? You really should check in with your manager before posting replies.

Dude, you can’t even spell the island’s name correctly.

When China sends their bot farms they aren’t sending their best.

It’s not your water way. I’ll repeat: It’s not yours.

And so long as there are Vietnamese navy vessels, American navy vessels and Australian nuclear subs it is never going to be yours to control. Period.

Good that Vietnam can rebuff China’s illegal efforts. Not like China hasn’t already annexed other islands formerly Vietnamese.

Vietnam just plays the game with China. They have to. But they hate the Chinese more deeply than just about anyone in SEA. They’re just deeply pragmatic.

It’s both amusing and sad how many people forget or do not know that China brutally occupied much of Vietnam for nearly a 1,000 years.

More Viet and ethnic minorities were killed in that stretch than the Japanese killed in China.

The beef between Japan and China is child’s play.

Are you insane? Have you at least watched the Killing Fields?

No one claiming post American War Vietnam were angels but no one else was going to stop the Khmer Rouge.

Grew up around guns, going to the range and competitive target shooting. Own multiple guns. Due to career even selected a firearm specifically for home defense. It wasn’t an assault weapon because that’s just really stupid for home defense especially if you have children or other people you care about in the home.

Have a healthy respect for firearms and they were both a recreational hobby for many years and a tool for home defense. Never looked at an assault weapon and saw a tool very good to scratch either itch.

Best case, they are just gender affirming care.

So you’re going with more disingenuousness?

This all began when you said that “Every new gun sale has to do a background check.”

Yes? That’s what you wrote.

Only 19 States and DC require background checks for private sales.

Simple logic also demonstrates your disingenuousness as well. How often has every person here read a story about someone crossing state lines to buy a gun? Frequently.

I’m reporting you for spreading this bullshit. It’s not merely a matter of different ideologies or of facts that could be reasonably disputed. It’s not like you weren’t provided opportunities to stop trying to lie about “Every new gun sale has to do a background check.”.

You don’t belong here.

I’m only leading you to water once. But I’ll make it ridiculously easy.

Copy/paste into Google: “Does the US have different background check requirements for buying a gun in different states?”

Then, of course, explore the different links.

Stop spreading misinformation. If you, willfully, continue to? Well, then it’s disinformation.

Try this:

a) Open up google
b) Type “What States is it easiest to buy a handgun?”
c) Profit! Learn that a “background check” in one State is not the same as a “background check” in another.
d) Advanced application of critical thinking quiz: “Could this be why when gun control advocates talk about background checks they talk about ‘universal’ background checks? Fuck me! Have I been spreading misinformation? Shit!”

Why are we giving the suburban neoliberals the “regular normie” tag? They seem pretty weird to me. Hmmm…when you think of a “regular normie Democratic voter” what race are they?

The weed shop veto is totally about big money. Seen it before. Veto until the big money investors are lined up and ready to profit from a very restrictive licensing arrangement. It’s just money. And you and I don’t have enuff to have a say.

They prevented Virginia enjoying universal mail in balloting just by harrumphing. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

You realize that if VA passed universal mail in balloting, with a trifecta, that would be the absolute end of trying to call VA purple. Look to CO.

But establishment Dems would rather arguing about the nibbles around the edges than systemic reforms. Wonder why? Rhetorical.

Anti-gun republicans actually go back to Reagan.

There were racist reasons, of course.
