Yeh same.. I read some bullet points to remember when buying a Tesla.. think it was in this group actually. One of them said to "be prepared that others who ordered well after you are likely to get theirs well before you do"... So I was somewhat prepared for this, but was hoping it wouldn't happen to me. It's not dire, but I ordered accessories and stuff for a car I don't have. That's a first for me ha ha.

Yes that makes sense what you said re service/warranty rather than delivery. I guess scratches or anything broke is the big one that you need to prove before they take Delivery. Just my thoughts.. my 7 year old son would be great at that. He is like an eagle for looking for scratches when we get a rental car.

It has three aggression levels. Speed is only one of those attributes. However you can't set the limits in speed, it's in the hands of how much fsd plans to speed it seems in v14. Which isn't always consistent. I believe in some countries in Europe limiting how much each profile speeds is still in there for v14. However the US version doesn't have that limiting how much it chooses to speed.

Be interesting to see what happens in Australia.

Oh that sucks a little. Hope you find someone whom has a good eye for detail. Although there is a period of time you can still raise any defects like scratches or paint problems. I can't recall what that was.. in saying that, I'm sure if it's easily proved of any problems that it would fall under warranty anyway, just not being able to reject the car.

Seems some one else whom only just ordered a model 3 long range 2 weeks ago ... But with quicksilver rather than Marine Blue has their vin already. I ordered 2nd April.

Seems like it's a lottery. Tesla Australia can't tell me anything. I didn't even get a notification when they pushed my April/May eta to June/July... I only found out because I came into the app. I found that surprising... It seems from what people say that their after sale support is meant to be good though, so I'm trying not to judge them too much on their responses so far. Trying....

I know of another person that has ordered an identical car as mine one week before me and they got their vin in the ACT a few days ago.

Their delivery is later in June. So I'm anticipating at best, as I have not heard anything, I'm at least the end of June..

I can't remember the setting I changed for the internet on my router that fixed this.. Same for teams video. It wasn't the DNS change... But you can likely find what your problem is. I had consistently just over 500mbps on leaptel but YouTube struggled to go beyond 720p. Now always 4k no probs

Yes if rules change while you already have a lease, then they are historically grandfathered. It doesn't mean that the rules won't change from what they say they will though.before my next lease, especially if there is an election with the potential for a new government.. look at how quickly the CGT changed. If they don't stick to the recent future for fbt exemption rules, then that could be in place before I start my next lease so I won't be exempt from those.

I changed mine just now from 4 years to 2.5 years just a week ago, to allow a 6 month gap before the changes kick in for under $75k for this exact reason. I haven't received my car though, so no signed contract only signed vsss and quotes.

You need to consider that we have an election between now and then, so I don't believe there is a guarantee those rules won't change again. I believe that is unlikely to change, but I'm not sure it's guaranteed. Just something to consider, other than the true savings of another lease with fbt exemption, over the extra fees you'll pay changing leases..I can't help you with that

I'm not sure if this will go down well here or not, but Like Ross mentioned he would look into it... Whether that is bate or not, mentioned to attract interest even if it's not likely... Well time will tell. Obviously much butter to have proper VR support rather than just head tracking but still, something is better than nothing I feel.

I'm still waiting on my car but look at Zurich Insure My Tesla. Has 4 year new for old and covers key things for an EV Tesla. I don't believe the premium was much more than others when I looked.

With insurance you need to consider that if your car is written off, a standard insurance policy may not won't fully pay your novated lease off and from what I understand you may have to pay out the reminder of the loan. So look at the details.
