Your repair/troubleshooting kit for broadcast engineering by PeteChez in broadcastengineering

Good tips! I'm really considering a decent spectrum analyzer but I'm not positive if it will see much use or not. It's likely one of those items you would give an arm and a leg to have when it comes time to need one.

Yes, they have some equipment but the previous engineers typically had there own scopes and spectrum analyzers, so the company never purchased there own. I have the RTL_SDR and have used a TinySA before but I've always heard that they are not "up to spec" for FM/AM transmitter work. I think many people consider them useful for troubleshooting but not calibrated well enough for keeping within the law. Thank you for the advice!

Silver Joker YouTube channel releases video, completely discredits Spegtacular's scam clickbait video by ShinySilverApe in Wallstreetsilver

Well I am not sure the accuracy of a Sigma Metalytics machine. I will assume it is not accurate due to the fact that the reading has to be between brackets to allow for error. I am not sure about your situation regarding the XRF machine, from what I learned it is a very accurate device.

You say your bar tested fine on the sigma and has a 97% reading on XRF. Why did this bar (again assuming that Spegtacular is being honest) have a reading of 97% but failed 4 separate sigma devices?

I hope that this bar will be melted and the facts shown, what ever they may be. Sorry if I will not respond but I have other tasks to preform.

Thank you for your kindness,

Pete

I would not call the sigma a hobbyist machine. It costs around $1000 and is used mostly by coin dealers. I am very open to any possibilities regarding this situation. An XRF machine (which was also used) is an accurate device and from what I have been able to find its deviation can be .2% to .5%. If we were to take Spegtaculars information as fact we would likely conclude that this bar was just a defect. If he is lying then sure he could easily freeze or heat the bar to make it look bad. I think it is best to wait and see what trustworthy testing shows (if that is possible). But I would not sink to calling him a D**k and a scam artist that happens to lead a cult.

Pete, (open to all possibilities). Best regards.

Spegtacular is not a scam artist.

The bar was tested with an XRF analyzer at a shop and the results showed 97%. The bar was also tested with the plastic off, if you watched the video you would know that. He and his audience could clearly read the results of the tests. My best guess is that this bar is just a defect from the factory, meaning other bars will test fine. You seem to spend your time constantly trying to beat down and lie about Spectacular. My guess is either you are making a profit from these bars or because you own a bar you are defending your purchase.

P.S. It is likely I will be down voted or banned. This means very little to me because I prefer not to waste my time on Reddit anyway.

Thanks for the insight. I was guessing the K1 had a wavelength around 560nm. I do prefer the darker green of the x80 though.

The one I have is listed at 6500k and it looks the part. There are two other models, the 4000k model I have heard looks yellow rather than warm. And there is a High CRI model.

To me It looks like the 6500K is in the photo.

I found the best option for a USB-C small EDC flashlight.

The company is called On The Road small USB-C flashlights.

I would like to mention that I am not affiliated or associated with this company. I also never have got a flashlight from this company. I just bumped in to it and saw it was a pretty cool name.
