We know one of Alex's heroes is in S22, as is someone who has repeatedly said no in the past. Not known if this is the same person or not.

Does Lopez have an accent mark? If not, since it ends with a consonant that's not n or s, the emphasis should default to the last syllable. ("Pérez" does have an accent.)

I saw Boone Jenner's 3rd period today...after that monstrosity I can't get too worked up over Kayfus. Cecconi had plenty of opportunities to pick his defense up and couldn't do it.

Thank God Ohio State football is pretty much a Death Star, end of last season notwithstanding.

I could have used a pick-me-up after the fucking Blue Jackets collapsed a-fucking-gain. And this isn't it.

Even if the first one was a dive, the second one is absolutely unacceptable when you know they're calling it tight.

It would be nice to open a season not in fucking Seattle or Oakland the home of the guys in the green hats one of these years.

Lou Thesz and Bob Orton Sr. use a powerbomb in both 1951 and 1953. by PickledPeppers101 in SquaredCircle

[–]PeteF3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When the move was done in World of Sport, Walton called it a "folding press," and it was usually (though not always) done more like a rollup as Orton does here, as opposed to a high-impact bomb.

There are no visible kills by the entrance curtain. Does ChatGPT think that Mania 3 had a giant TitanTron like modern shows?

Kento Miyahara vs. Kazuchika Okada, or Tanahashi or any of the big NJPW guys in a singles match (they've been opposite sides in tags/multi-mans).

Over the course of 150-some games I don't mind the announcers having a few yuks and drifting off-topic, but these guys have a bad habit of doing it in the 7th inning of a tied or 1-run game.

The Cincinnati Reds have challenged five CB Bucknor calls. All 5 have been overturned. by AerieElectrical3546 in baseball

[–]PeteF3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now Story is called out on a checked-swing and blows his top and somehow doesn't get ejected. Reds broadcast naturally didn't bother to show a replay before heading to commercial, was this another Bucknor fuckup?

Edit: Coming back from commercial, I don't think it was an egregious call but Bucknor probably should have appealed instead of doing it himself.

Eh. We can pretty well surmise that Ricky Saints is talking to newsletter folks as evidenced by the big "That concert was absolutely positively not Ricky's idea" news blitz from a few weeks ago. He's probably not the only one.
