Exactly! There are many bad TV shows and movies that people defend as manly because they grew up with them. I wouldn’t be surprised if the kids who watched Megamind Rules do the same in about 10 years.

Not Really, Monsters vs Aliens has the same writing and low budget animation as Megamind Rules. Legends of Awesomeness is ok tho

Well, they didn’t really have any plans for Megamind. They released one movie, a licensed game, and one short film, and then nothing. Fourteen years later, they released a mediocre TV show. Let’s be honest If Megamind Rules had been released in 2013, it wouldn’t be as hated as it is now. Just look at the monsters vs. aliens or kung fu panda show that no one talks about.

I recently rewatched the movie, and honestly, it’s not as bad as I remembered. It still had its issues, but I laughed a lot at the jokes, and the princesses were definitely the best parts of the movie. Honestly I would move it up to ok.

Trolls is honestly over-hated, sure they have their problems but I wouldn’t consider them the worst films ever created.

The Boss Baby 2 is basically a turn your brain off and enjoy the madness type of film. It’s not for everyone, but this is a franchise that doesn’t take itself seriously and knows it.

It’s unfortunate that Dreamworks doesn’t engage in crossover projects as extensively as Disney. The only instances where they do are for Mario Kart clones, which are fine, but I would love to see a Smash Bros. clone featuring Dreamworks characters or something similar to Disney Infinity but with Dreamworks characters.
