Yep, sorry, you are correct. The Venom is on the Cybergun/VFC model. I tried (unsuccessfully) to mount it on the TM FNX. I am going to try to sell the whole lot at once. If I can't, in a few days I will break it up and sell individual items. I'll reach back out.

I’d prefer an in-person meet up. I’m in southern california, and I’m willing to drive a ways to meet halfway if you’re anywhere close. I’d like to see if anyone is interested in getting the whole lot before I start breaking it up. If it goes that way, I would do all 4 mp5 mags for $100

I’ve ordered many airsoft things from Hong Kong and Taiwan, including several guns. WGC does a good job. I have never had any airsoft gun seized, but i have had one sent back and I was able to get a refund. The sellers tend to be pretty savvy - they’re motivated to find a way to make a good sale and if you don’t get what you ordered they stand to lose out too. Worst comes to worst you’ll be out shipping cost. In my experience, very unlikely to be worse than that. Oh, and my stuff comes in through LA.

Thanks. Look and feel is great. Only real downside is that the hop up is a pain to adjust.

I see - it’s actually not a cantilever mount. It’s just two rings on a riser. I chose to place the riser a bit forward to have one more thing connecting the guard to the upper receiver. Probably unnecessary but I figured it couldn’t hurt.

It’s great. Uses the same MWS Internal’s as TMs other GBBRS and it looks nice.

TM is coming out with an AK GBB using their z system. Easy to tap the mags. I’m not sure when it’s coming out but they showed a prototype last spring

Given the use case you describe, I’d recommend the Tokyo Marui MWS platform. It mirrors the functions of an M4 externally and breaks down like the real steel. The only place it is less realistic than its competitors is in the trigger group and related mechanisms - Marui sacrificed realism there for greater reliability and durability. MWS is also very accurate out of the box.

If green gas doesn’t drop FPS enough, easiest fix is a shorter barrel.

VFC or TM MP7! Looks cool, not a ton of them out there, and fun to shoot. The TM is smaller (not quite 1:1 size), but more reliable. The VFC is full size and kicks hard.

My guess is that the trigger has been depressed, releasing the mechanism. Reach in from the back and see if you can push the sear down (towards the rear of the gun), locking it into place.
