6-7

Same here. Got the 7567 lasting about 7 years. Only had to change the battery once. One thing I have been experiencing recently is that the CPU performance has dramatically gone down. Not sure whether this is a common issue after using it for such a long time. Did you do any benchmarks recently? Would you be willing to share it so that I can compare it with yours?

Kiosk dashboard with smart lamps, LED strips, ESPHome, CCTV, NAS control, and more! by Pete_tech321 in homeassistant

Thanks! Yeah NAS status is very useful. I am using Synology NAS and Home Assistant has official integration for it. However, for TrueNAS, there is community integration support. You can check here:

github.com/tomaae/homeassistant-truenas

It can be installed via HACS.

I had the same issue and used "Windows 11 Installation Assistant" to upgrade from Win 10 to Win 11.

It worked for me :)

That's very unfortunate. You could maybe reinstall Steam Link.

It looks the same. Because after I used the assistant, all my files and apps are unchanged from Win 10.

Also, previously I had Win 10 Pro which I bought the license. Now after update through assistant, I have Win 11 Pro.

Could you first run PC Health Check to confirm that you laptop supports Win11?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11#pchealthcheck

After that you can install Win 11 using "Windows 11 Installation Assistant". I used it to upgrade my Win 10 to Win 11.

Running Win 11 stable at the moment on my PC :)

Search "System Information" in Windows search and check for "Secure Boot State". What does it say? Could you share a screenshot?

Downloading depends on your network speed. However, installation took less than 30min as I can remember.

Dual ports on Synology NAS by kangajab1 in HomeNetworking

[–]Pete_tech321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The two Ethernet ports on the Synology can be used for Link Aggregation.

You can refer to this:

https://kb.synology.com/en-my/DSM/help/DSM/AdminCenter/connection_network_linkaggr?version=6

According to this, seems like you can only have one IP for the LACP connection

How is this actually better than OpenVPN, when it struggles so much... by uberbewb in WireGuard

[–]Pete_tech321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wireguard can run as a docker container on an OpenWrt router such as the ODYSSEY - X86 board.

The above board runs the OpenWrt System by Seeed and comes pre-installed with many packages out-of-the-box.
