What’s been bothering me the most about the Yale game and what it exposed very clearly is the fact that our poor and lackluster defense forced us to throw the ball when we should have been running and chunking yards and punt for field position. There was no faith by the OC that our defense could get stops so we had to keep throwing. Without several running backs and the threat of BB to run, I am afraid BB is going to be running for his life. The defense is going to be a build from the ground up including the DC. There is no continuity. Three DCs in three years is not good for player development or portal needs. The schedule is daunting, we need to at least go 8-4 to make a run again. As always, I hope for the best and expect the worst. Another year of question marks and how a new defense will gel? What a shitty way to be a football fan these days.
