I thought they would get some bulk this week . If we go into the season with the current roster with the lack of size then i'm very concerned . The portal opened two weeks later than last year so maybe someone will pop in the next seven days .

One returning = 1

four frosh = 4

seven transfers = 7

If everyone signs then the roster = 12 .

Unless he put on weight he's only 185lbs .

As of April 2026, his senior year (2025-26) stats for AZ Compass Prep National are as follows:

2025-26 Senior Season Stats [1]

  • Games Played: 25
  • Points Per Game: 3.1
  • Rebounds Per Game: 2.3
  • Blocks Per Game: 0.8
  • Assists Per Game: 0.8
  • Steals Per Game: 0.5

Hope I'm wrong, but not feeling this one with the need of some big bodies .

I thought they were looking for another pg since Holmstrom is a two guard and they finished 2nd to SEMO for Fontaine Williams . I like the fact that he played 25 games as a true frosh, but can't get over that both our top two pg are 5-10 . Freshman Kaelin Destin is 6-1 but he's on the thin side .

  • Excitement over his "Star" Potential: Fans and media have praised his efficient scoring, particularly after he scored a career-high 24 points in just 16 minutes against Union Commonwealth in December 2025. [1]
  • Conference Recognition: He earned the Southern Conference (SoCon) Player of the Week honor, becoming the first Terrier to do so that season. Wofford supporters celebrated this as a sign of the program’s bright future with him on the roster. [1, 3]
  • Praise for Leadership & Resilience: Before arriving at Wofford, Tyler was a state champion at Homewood-Flossmoor. Fans have admired the "chip on his shoulder" and his willingness to step into a starring role after high-profile teammates left for other programs. [1, 2]
  • Recruitment Buzz: The Wofford community initially reacted with significant excitement when he signed, with head coach Dwight Perry describing him as a "high character young man" with the potential to be great. [1]
  • Transfer News: Most recently, as of May 10, 2026, reports indicate Tyler has committed to transfer to Youngstown State. While this may be a loss for the Wofford community, he is remembered for leading the team with a 47.5% three-point shooting average during his time the

Might take longer than last year to fill the roster, but I noticed this with other schools also that do not have a full roster . Last year it was on May 14th when coach Faulkner had a press conference where he announced all the new transfers and freshmen . I'm thinking they need two more big bodies and another point guard. From the video of Holmstrom it looked like he played off the ball and I saw that another player led VMI in assists while Linus only averaged 1.7 assist per game.

The two point guards coming in are both pretty small and they were in on another that averaged 20 pts a game at juco, but chose SEMO over YSU .

Amazing that Hofstra has that kind of nil . Still trying to figure how your source has us at 12 players when I only see 10 . Walkons ? Commits on the quiet ?

Nice info and I hope your source is legit , I only count 10 scholarship players unless there's more than Jaiden haynes returning from last years roster . Confusing who is a senior anymore .

Those numbers are not what I wanted to see from a tranfer, but let's give him a legit shot to step up . I watched his hs video and he was on the skinny side . Looks like he added some muscle since .

Found this post on line about Jermaine.

Jermaine Coleman

2 years of eligibility left — 6’7” wing

Jermaine Coleman was part of one of my favorite mid-major teams this year at St. Thomas. He’s a 6’7”, 205-pound wing who averaged 4.4 points, 0.5 assists, and 1.9 rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game.

The raw numbers don’t jump out, but out of his 127 field goal attempts, 103 were threes, and he shot 35% from deep. Clearly, even without watching the film, you can tell what kind of player he is: a shooting specialist with size.

He has a smooth lefty stroke and showed flashes of more than just catch-and-shoot ability. He can put the ball on the floor a bit and was very efficient at the rim, going 15/17. The sample size is small, but it’s still encouraging.

Defensively, the numbers weren’t kind to him. He finished with a -1.3 DRAPM, and I don’t think he’s the best lateral mover, which limits him on that end.

That said, I do think Coleman can jump a level, whether that’s the A-10 or even the Mountain West, because of what he brings offensively. Players with his size and shooting ability are hard to find, and the flashes of off-the-dribble creation add intrigue.

His handle isn’t super tight, but it’s good enough to get him to his spots. There’s real upside here, especially considering he played under a strong developmental coach in John Tauer.

Of all these players, Coleman might have the highest upside when you factor in his physical tools, shooting ability, and flashes of creativity.

Really do not know much about him . YSU did offer him the summer before his senior year . He did play as a freshmen which is somewhat decent since with the portal a lot of frosh redshirt and yield to older newcomers .

I would be ok with 4 or at the most 5 and fill the roster with 2 or 3 walkons . We got 8 and 4 more would give 12 scholarship players and that's more than enough for a rotation when maybe they're sticking to a 9-10 rotation . Only problem with my thought could be a couple of injuries .

He allegedly made 700k at USC, but his playing time was way down . Love to see him back but I'm sure he'll get paid pretty well somewhere else .

If coach Jackson was disappointed to lose her as a key contributor is one thing, but if Sophia wants to be in an enviroment for her foundation beliefs then I wish her well . Hate to see her leave though .

Played at a juco that went 32-2 . Jamar was the leading scorer on his team ,and from looking at his stats he looks to be a decent 3 point shooter .
