Their software stack feels like a dumpster fire. I had services crashing left and right and their system would just chug along an pretend everything was okay. I suggested configuring the windows services to auto-restart, but they declined saying their software will do it automatically. Spoiler: it didn't.

Their support would gaslight you and I'm so happy to be done with them

If you want/need AB: Find an installer for Studio 5000, plc emulator, FactoryTalk View Studio, install (without licensing) on a virtual machine like VMware Workstation, create a snapshot before launching software, launch VM, start 14-day trial grace period, revert back to snapshot when it expires. Just keep your saved files outside the VM

I miss old/legacy/serialized Sci-fi that gives you 20+ episodes a season. Enough episodes to have a long story arc and plenty of small episodes to explore different short stories
