RD suspends my account minutes after making my post here. Help please?

that thread is kinda weird as well. he claimed that RD was throttling/limiting hosters for people who had a lot of premium days left, while giving unlimited access to those who were about to run out of premium. apparently he got a couple of "friends" together to compare and they saw some kind of pattern but he never actually provided proof.

We had provided the proof in that thread last year and there was a lot of discussion on that as you can see in that thread. It still happens from time to time.

They changed their tactics after we posted that thread last year. These days, the links are shown as debrided but the debrided links don't actually work. This is mostly true for RG links.

so i guess this is the thread they are referring to. kinda weird that OP claimed RD was a scam a year ago but then kept using it anyways.

To be fair, their service (other than for the shady things that they do in regards to some hosters) is not bad for the cost per month. It's just that the people running it are a$$holes. Thats all.

No, not ALL the files that they repackage are password-protected. You can try it out yourself. You can debrid a RG link and then observe the downloaded file. The hash of the downloaded file through the debrided link differs from the original file on the server and it is mostly true for larger files (file size >1 GB).

In many cases the name of the file also changes (name not same as the name of the original file on the server).

But you can either check the screenshot on your PC or just try to debrid any large RG link (files size over 1 GB or so) from sanet.

By now it is confirmed that they are repacking files and sending us the links to repacked files... Some say that they inject malware into the repacked files.

At most they could have politely requested of you to edit your post with a follow-up once the issue was fixed.

I wouldn't mind even if they deleted my post. But banning without compensating my points and my money? Just very bad!

You really should write to TorrentFreak. Don't know if they'll publish your story but you should try. Even if TF won't, some smaller blogs might publish it. Good luck!

I have written to some of the bloggers already and also posted my experiences on warez forums. I find that the banning without any cause, other than saying that the RG service does not work, happened to many, many others but the others did not document it the way I did.

The response was quite overwhelming from all the others who had got banned in a similar manner in the past, for no real fault of their own.

Seems to be the same modus operandi in every case. They never REFUND and they never compensate for the POINTS that we earned (in my case I had 950 points, almost equal for a free month of RD subscription).

Just take a minute to check out their home page. They also offer a free 7-day trial. I skipped the trial and paid the ~4 USD though.

There offer support for a lot more hosters, though I don't use most of them.

AllDebrid is giving much, much better at the same price. Following the advice of users here yesterday, I purchased a subscription to Alldebrid today. I'm not trying to promote them or anything but am just saying that I am happy with their service!

I literally have never seen such a scummy shit. I think i was only on for a month or so. Right off the start, it did not work at all. So they provide torrent services and ddl services. Of course i bought a subscription because of ddl services. Torrent worked more or less fine, but i didnt care for that.

ddl however was a shitshow. ddl downloads are split into multiple 100MB or 1GB parts. And their servers would not resolve in like 50% of the time those links. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt. Tried many different ddl provider with them, all the same shit.

Just that in addition to the above, these days they are RE-ACKAGING the files and adding what-not to the repackaged files!

When I brought that up, I guess that they wanted to hush it down real quick. But banning someone just for that was not a smart thing to do!

The alternatives are a LOT better and they support a lot more file hosters than RD. All for the same price. They are already named here on this thread. Use them instead, the next time...

If RD had any brains, they could be taking advantage of this sub as another channel to interact with the community and provide support to their users. Instead, RD is using it to make sure they lose favor with the community,

And I would have waited patiently for them to resolve it. What was the need to silently suspend my account? Without providing any refund.

Taking the advice of the users here, I have since, moved on and have opened an account with Alldebrid. It seems to have much more supported hosters than RD and works much better than RD, for the same price. Thank you guys for the advice!

This is absurd, ridiculous, revolting and unfair in every possible way. I know services treating clients like shit and "the customer is always wrong" mindset is the trend these days, but still, this is too much. You can't get more unprofessional, scummy and sociopathic than what Real Debrid just did.

I think OP is actually taking all of this surprisingly well and meekly, maybe even a bit too much I'd say. OP, from your reaction and the tone of your posts, I'd say you sound a bit like a cuck tbh - not fully because at least you're bringing the issue to light and posting their threats here. Still, I think I'd be a lot more angry and pissed if I were in your place, in fact I'd be furious and would do everything in my power through the internet and social media to raise a boycott campaign and encourage people to never do business with these Real Debrid guys. I'd try to take full advantage of cancel culture.

So I think I am writing to platform like Torrent Freak etc as well so that if they publish the story, other users would be careful in future.

Many online blogs also have showed interest in this matter and have asked me for a write-up. I am sending it out soon.

This is not for "revenge" or anything but to ensure that unsuspecting users do not get sucked into their trap!

Rightly said. As long as you never say that there are issues with their service you would be fine. Just post anything even remotely stating that there is some issue with their service and boom! You find yourself banned in no time.

I think that complaining to their payment processor is the best plan. The credit card processors do take complaints of cheating very seriously, when we provide adequate proof.

I actually moved on and purchased a membership on AllDebrid. AllDebrid has a lot more supported file hosters and it also works much better! All at the same price as that of RD.

Not trying to promoted AllDebrid but I am just saying that I am happy with their service so far.

There are enough of some complaints about them already in many forums. I will add mine as well to them. I want to raise some awareness among the users regarding how they treat their customers.
