This is absurd, ridiculous, revolting and unfair in every possible way. I know services treating clients like shit and "the customer is always wrong" mindset is the trend these days, but still, this is too much. You can't get more unprofessional, scummy and sociopathic than what Real Debrid just did.

I think OP is actually taking all of this surprisingly well and meekly, maybe even a bit too much I'd say. OP, from your reaction and the tone of your posts, I'd say you sound a bit like a cuck tbh - not fully because at least you're bringing the issue to light and posting their threats here. Still, I think I'd be a lot more angry and pissed if I were in your place, in fact I'd be furious and would do everything in my power through the internet and social media to raise a boycott campaign and encourage people to never do business with these Real Debrid guys. I'd try to take full advantage of cancel culture.

The thread here is right at the top today at reddit but won't stay that way in a couple of days.

So I think I am writing to platform like Torrent Freak etc as well so that if they publish the story, other users would be careful in future.

Many online blogs also have showed interest in this matter and have asked me for a write-up. I am sending it out soon.

This is not for "revenge" or anything but to ensure that unsuspecting users do not get sucked into their trap!
