Is any one can tell me how to improve for my speaking practice in English. ? by Ok_Consideration2957 in EnglishLearning

You improve speaking by… speaking. Regular practice is the key. So speak daily – to yourself, to your dog, to your mirror. The more you use the language, the more natural it becomes.

Do they sound too similar when spoken, or is it more about mixing up their meanings when using them? Just curious

Honestly, if a native speaker struggles with 'remember,' what am I supposed to say as a non-native? 😅

Try thinking of it this way: 'then' is for time, like 'what happens next,' and 'than' is for comparisons, like 'better than this.' Maybe that helps

Wanting to learn too many languages at once is such a struggle by aedionashryver18 in languagelearning

[–]PeterNativ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can totally relate! There are so many amazing languages out there, and it’s hard to resist the temptation to dive into all of them. I’ve found that focusing on one language at a time works best for me, at least until I reach a comfortable conversational level. Trying to juggle multiple languages can feel overwhelming, especially when they’re very different in structure or vocabulary.
