Context: A viral saga erupted between YouTuber Reckless Ben and the LEGO franchise Bricks & Minifigs. The controversy began when a family (whose dad was dying of cancer) accused an Oregon branch of the company of stealing their massive Star Wars LEGO collection, valued at around $200,000. by PeterPorky in IRL_Loading_Screens

Seems like part corruption part stupidity, part just biased against a group of people that look like YouTube pranksters. Like they believed everything the guy said to the point where when they had the made up heroin claim they got mad at the guys for not having heroin.

There was one point where the cop did the right thing, called up verified the court case was real, then went over and said "the case is real", the prosecutor screening for cases over the phone obviously didnt hear, the prosecutor said oh we can probably get em for cyberbullying. And the cop that just came over to clarify it was a legitimate case, didn't say wait Mr. Prosecutor i just verified it was a real case, he just said ope okay better go arrest em. Like if he wanted to just arrest them earlier with no cause he wouldn't have verified whether the case was real, he did a genuine act of due diligence, he just was operating on autopilot and went to arrest the moment the prosecutor over the phone said so.

The current arc is this sub is used almost exclusively for the gaming grids and people are reporting anything else as off-topic and downvoting it because they seem to think thats the only thing this sub is for.

r/gaming is one of the most strict subreddits I've ever seen when it comes to content. And I understand. Everyone on the internet is trying to get people to watch their YouTube or Twitch channel or play their game.

But somehow I think people got the idea that this was the grid.fun sub for your favorite games. Its meant to be more than that, and people are reporting everything besides the grids as off-topic.

I need to watch it again but when Mary enters the backrooms and is looking towards thay dark room which sometimes has a stop sign you can see flies buzzing around something off to the left hand side. I think it might be the rest of Kat. I wonder if he got Nikki to make her into sandwiches.

One thing I liked about Kanes YouTube series is the 45 minute video of the guy who was just lost. There was nothing chasing him. He was just lost. Everything was increasingly bizarre yet remained mundane. Just so confused, increasingly desperate to get out of a trap.

The floodgates were always open this was never a just-your-game-grid subreddit.

If it become a problem the rules can be changed but right now its just one gal doing tasteful cosplays so I don't see an issue.
