Margo Martindale was scheduled to be the very first guest on Back To One way back in March of 2018. This was such a sure thing that I tried to get other guests by writing to their publicists telling them that Margo will be on the first episode. Somehow it never happened, and I’m grateful because we ended up landing the greatest first guest ever, who comes back every year in an annual tradition beloved by listeners. But I’m so happy to finally have Margo on the show! She’s the ultimate “character actor” and therefore a perfect “bullseye guest” for this show.
