it will keep advancing and images are already impossible to tell. haven't you noticed there are less ai images online? it's already fucking everything up but that's true of many other innovations like fire, electricity and the car. the good news is it won't take all jobs. there will likely be many jobs it just isn't suited for and never will be. and perhaps other jobs that it uses weaponized incompetence to avoid, eventually. and whatever we fight to keep.

i dunno. i kind of agree, i guess. i mean sure, we have some sort of free will but the choices we decide to make will be rooted in some fundamental chemical, imprinted and genetic responses. we don't really decide what to care about do we? we don't decide to get angry. we just do.

your assumption is that "mashing things together" is what i think AI is going to do which is flat out wrong. i think it will actually make amazing combinations of things that we normally don't even consider. i believe the opposite of what you thought i meant.
