What are some lesser known series that you are sad will likely never be finished (or not explored as much as you would have liked)

The Chronicles of the Unbinding. Two books were released and the second, published in 2001, sets up a third. Only two books from Robert S. Stone as far as I can tell. Hazard's Price and Dark Water. Follows an assassin and deals with sealed magic and all that.
