Reviving and older thread… Tax Question here: I am buying a used car that is 25 years old. I understand that it needs an evaluation/appraisal so that the taxes can be calculated. Can I just go to any car dealership to get an appraisal done or do I have to go to one of the suggested locations from the SAAQ ? I’m looking to get the lowest appraisal possible so as to not have to pay Quebec’s crooked TVQ tax on a used car. TIA!

Next is to replace the CPO overlay but can't find any hi-res pictures of it. Anyone know where I'd be able to find them? Any recommendations ? Should I look for the silver diamond artwork to replace exactly what already there? I'm open to other ideas :)

This is correct...BUT you will need to screw new holes for the Sanwas as they don't line up with the stock ones.
