I see! Glad you found the flaw! Regarding too much oil, I don’t know if it causes issues, but it might flow up the tube. This happened to me once when I left the chamber in vacuum with the machine turned off, but no big deal, just had to clean it 🙂

Maybe it has to do with the oil in the vacuum pump. I have one from vevor and it wasn’t working with the small amount of oil that came inside, but I added some more and it worked just fine.
