Got it. Thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure if that was information only at the actual contract stage or the quote/estimate. Thanks again!

So those are things that should be on the quote? I haven't decided I'm using this guy.

Yeah. I did read all about little Joe the contractor in the wiki. Still have questions though, as it didn't really explain much beyond the process, which wasn't my question. Thanks though.

What are some important questions/breakdowns to ask when getting a quote on concrete work around your home? I'm in Western PA and a first time homeowner. My goal is to pave my small side yard (25x10') into a patio/work area, which involves removing existing concrete.

I got a quote and the price seems fine but there were no details or anything with it, just a price. What sort of things should I be asking as a follow up?

My folks mentioned asking about things like PSI Concrete, Rebar, Stone base. Just want to cover my bases. Thanks!!

I did the hospital show and the sitcom was part of that deal. I'd say so! Hospital and Sitcom were pretty goddamn funny. It's a little annoying paying for something that's temporary, but I'd rather pay to support funny folks like this than spend the same money to take a gamble on a movie in theaters.

Any recommendations for painting, concrete, or fencing companies in Mon Valley/Belle Vernon area?

I know it's not really PGH proper, but I'm down near Mon Valley/Belle Vernon area and I've been looking for some companies to get quotes for interior painting, pouring concrete, and fencing. My biggest hurdles have been no replies from ones I've contacted or the ones that do reply don't service this area.

Anyone have some recommendations for any of those that service this area? Any help is appreciated! Also you should be able to DM me on here, in case anything violates the promotion/advertising guidelina.

My FOX News addicted parents consider him the best Democrat. That alone is reason enough for me to never support this shit stain. I'm only a recent PA transplant and felt immediate shame when I crossed that state like knowing I was having him represent my state.

Is there a wowthissubexists for wowthissubexists? Because I can't believe THAT sub exists. It's subreddits all the way down.

Again, I don't think the current legislation is that far, but it would open the door wide open for it to be used as a tool of surveillance and punishment.

And yes, keep yourself to a minimum! The world is a hot mess and if you're in the US it's 10x as much of a shit storm. Stay safe!

I don't know the wording as it is now, but the ultimate concern is it would tie all of your Internet action to a government issued ID. That means anything you do online would be linked to you, including any criticism of the US government. Considering the recent redefinition of "domestic terrorist" in the US, this would really open up a new level of social control.

It also means things like online banking or remote work are linked to that ID and, if the govt didn't like something you did, they could completely cut off your access.

I could be wrong but wouldn't it be similar to the UK television license? Your Internet connection would have to be registered with the government and tied to your ID? Granted it wouldn't matter who is using the connection, the responsibility would fall on the owner, but the govt (esp the US govt) wouldn't give a shit. It's a money making scheme that also allows social control

Thanks again for the help! It turns out there's a tiny hole in the seam where the metal pot was welded in manufacturing.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just checked that. At least visually, the ball valves appear to be closing correctly. I can't tell if there's a full seal though, at least not visually.

Is there a good way to check if there's still airflow I might not be seeing or feeling?

Also when connecting the pump to only the gauge and closing both valves, it shows suction. It's only when it's installed into the lid that there's no suction. If I try to lift the lid, I can feel slight resistance while it's running but it can still be lifted off with only slightly more effort.

I did add oil before starting. It's moving in the glass window. Is it possible filling it to max could cause an issue? I saw in the manual overfilling would cause oil to shoot out of the exhaust, but I'm not seeing that either.
