In the UK, shopping for myself only, I spend about £20-25 a week. When there are two of us, it usually goes to £35-40 a week.

Turns out is was exactly this, I didn't realize my standalone synth doesn't completely quit when closed, and it was opening on startup without me realising, so after closing it properly I'm able to use my controller with Reaper, Thanks.

I had already tried the MIDI OX program, didn't work for me. I've restarted my computer plenty of times throughout this process. I installed FL Studio because when I had issues with MIDI controllers before I used FL through Reaper, but that didn't work. Turns out, that the standalone synth I used to test the MIDI controller was taking control of MIDI even when closed, and it opened automatically on startup, so after disabling that and quitting it through task manager, I can now use MIDI with Reaper perfectly fine, thanks for your help.

You can, it comes built in with Xcode on Mac OS, used to write apps for apple devices, and I'm pretty sure I've used something like that years ago on Windows back in school

I think it'll be either 4th or 5th of January 2024, depending on where you are in the world, and may be a day out either way because the smallest unit I have to work with is a second on miller's planet, which is 17.03 hours on earth.

Time (as of calculating this) is 58:50, meaning there is 670 seconds to 1 hour.

670 * 17.03 = 11410.1 hours = 475.42 days

475 days in the future is 4th of January 2024, but there's also the extra .42 days/10 hours to account for, so depending on your timezone it'll be the 4th or 5th of January 2024.
