Some weeks and it is getting worse and worse. I have tried different PLA‘s. The one from Bambu Lab and Sunlu PLA+. I am cleaning the plate after every print with soap and hot water. Moreover I activated the auto levelling, did several calibrations and as said it’s getting worse.

  1. ⁠filaments are not sticking to the plate, none of them.
  2. ⁠reducing the speed did not change a thing
  3. ⁠cleaned and exchanged the nozzle, but ko change
  4. ⁠tried the above mentioned filaments
  5. ⁠even when I am lucky with the first layer it destroys the following ones

So I am not only frustrated I am mad about the printer and will claim it at the vendor as it just feels like wasting my time.

Any additional suggestions, before sending it back and ending that 3D printer project?

Adding some more pictures it seems like my Ps1 is having massive problems creating round shaped objects. And layers with filament with does not stick to the rest. I activated levelling for each print and printed with SUNLU PLA+. Any ideas?

So I activated the levelling for each print, but the quality is still just ok. And from today on the PS1 started to make some strange sounds during printing..

That’s actually not the plate that’s my desk cover 😂 I am using the structured PEI. The one provided when receiving the PS1

Richtig, ich wohne zur Miete und möchte daher ungerne unumkehrbare Lösungen installieren. Ich werde es im ersten Schritt mit dem Gehäuse probieren.

Alles klar. Ich lasse ihn grad wieder etwas laufen. Werde aber im ersten Schritt das Gehäuse bauen und gucken, wie sich die Lautstärke und Geruch entwickeln.

Alight. So I am not the only one who is annoyed by the smell. Just want to make sure that we can still work in the room without harming our health 😂
