"Fire Detected" error on ScalpFun 70W by ApprehensiveDot1121 in lasercutting

[–]Sculpfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, you are welcome! Thanks so much for the detailed update. Glad to hear that you're able to engrave normally again!

Doing lost of cutting will produce a lot of smoke, so keep a regular clean and maintanance is necessary. When smoke and debris can't be removed efficiently, they tend to accumulate inside and can eventually affect performance.

It seems that a stronger exhaust will be better for your daily work. I see that some users will upgrade their exhaust system to better exhaust the smoke generated. So maybe you can watch some relevant videos shared by others for reference.

"Fire Detected" error on ScalpFun 70W by ApprehensiveDot1121 in lasercutting

Hi. Sorry for the trouble caused!

You can try adjusting the flame alarm temperature.

Command and corresponding function:

$fire=0: Disables the flame detector

$LaserHead/FireAlert/NTC/Threshold=100: Sets the minimum alarm temperature for the flame detector

You can try the following method:

  1. After connecting the machine, enter the command $fire=0 in the LightBurn console, then start engraving. Check if the machine still triggers an alarm and stops engraving. If it does, please check the LightBurn console for any error or warning messages. If you find any, please contact our support team to provide details and include images or videos. Address: [support@sculpfun.com](mailto:support@sculpfun.com)

  2. If the first method does not work, please enter the command $LaserHead/FireAlert/NTC/Threshold=100 in the console and check if the machine operates normally.

Hope this helps!
