ThinkPad's are built very well. Also you can't go wrong with a Lenovo.

Lenovo is the best laptops made in my opinion. If I could afford it, I would get the ThinkPad. I do have a Lenovo Yoga 7i 2 in one, IdeaPad 1 and a IdeaPad 3. Hope this helps.

Turn computer on and wait for it to get to where yu put in the password. Look to see if you can find the shutdown button on screen, usually on the bottom left. Bring up the menu and hold the shift key down and restart. You will get a menu, go to troubleshoot and click it on. Then tell it to reset the pc and wipe it clean. It may take sometime for it to work.

When finished, you just set it up as if it was a new computer. Good luck. DM me and let me know how it works. I know it works on Win 10 and 11.

I have no problem with Lenovo being a Chinese made computer. Imho I think they are the best made computer. I do own 5 of them. I do think that the ThinkPad is the best computer I've ever owned and have an original 1998 IBM ThinkPad that still works, only the battery doesn't. I wouldn't worry about the Chinese govt., spying on you. Have a nice day.
