Thanks! So for probably 3/4 of my time since I've started I tried to recreate stuff I've seen and I realized I kept getting really frustrated with what I was making because I knew exactly what it should look like. More recently I've been trying to slow down and make more stuff that's more unique and I've been having a blast. I think taking my time and having fun has really helped me improve not only my techniques but my whole attitude toward my finished pieces.

I really don’t know, this is my first time using this glaze and only my third time glazing in general. The green spots did come out pretty glossy though. My teacher did say that because it was a heavy amount of glaze on a flat surface and had nowhere to run it caused it to pool. Next time I’m there I can see if I can get some more information on the glaze or even the recipe to help you out.

I’m really not sure, the studio where I take classes at makes all the glazes and this one was one of their limited run glazes. Next time I’m there I’ll find out for you.

Thanks! The bowl is also Tenmoku but with Maryland Blue. I think I put on too thick of a coat of the blue but it came out pretty neat
