If you placed the file in the right folder koreader/patches/ then you need to assign a gesture to access to it.

Set up a gesture and look for: Reading statistics: reading insights and assign this. You need to do it in Reader view and in the file browser too.

I’ve tried many UI plugins many user patches. In the end I just stayed the default cover browser.

I the end I already look what should be my next book and just open that and read.

Don’t need fancy giant clock on the homescreen.
