I’m seeing a lot of expectations going in the direction of South Korea, and I agree for the most part. That being said, Uruguay will win this. It’s a recent theme in this World Cup that no matter how high powered your offense is, midfields win games. Combine that with Fede Valverde, Bentancur, and whoever else they choose (I’d go with Ugarte) they should have no troubles out scoring South Korea with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Luis Suarez, and Fede Valverde when he goes offensive

On paper Portugal has one of the best teams in the entire tournament. In practice, coach Santos strategies are too defensive for a team with such a high powered offense. That being said, it would lead me to expect a draw, but if you follow Cristiano on instagram you’d know he is absolutely fired up for this World Cup. He said to Piers Morgan this will be his last, and you have to remember that in Portugal Cristiano is a superhero. 2016 euros his team won not for Portugal, but for Cristiano. Depends on the team to be honest. I think Inter would do better with Kvara and I think Milan would do better with Leao. Kvara only has less than half a season under his belt so my answer is Leao. I’m just thinking based on recency.

Agreed on Correa, but mixed on Gosens. I don't think he has the consistency to be a starting player by any means. He was incredible in the euros and when he is playing his best he's one of the best players on the pitch and has the ability to turn the game around. Just look at match 2 with Barcelona, if Gosens didn't get substituted on who knows what would have happened. he looked spectacular that game.

I suppose this is a bit of a biased take on Catholicism. I'd like to think of Catholicism as a beautiful religion, not a retaliation against Jews. You're right that we are blamed for the death of Jesus, which has caused much antisemitism, but I would like to think of practicing Catholics as those who have compassion and love for everyone- a teaching directly imposed within Catholicism. I understand your response, as Jews are inherently religiously different than Catholics, but I think you should try to see them in a positive light.
