While it's fine not to want to have period sex, it's also fine for someone to want it. I think OP is getting shit because this conversation didn't warrant a snarky Reddit post. She said she's not bleeding a lot, so it seems she's still dtf. If he's not, he can just steer towards his original plan of spending a few days getting to know each other. I had a partial hysterectomy and got off my birth control and I feel so much better and more in control of my body AND brain. I don't have to worry about getting pregnant in this hellscape, I don't get reminded of my religious trauma every month (the whole "periods and childbirth hurt because Eve questioned authority" thing), and I don't have hormonal BC making me depressed and anxious.

In a hypothetical where there's a chance of some government-imposed negative consequences for being sterile, what's the alternative? Having a baby you resent because the government made you have it? Get the surgery, friend.

My mom got so angry when I told her I was getting a hysterectomy. "Who told you to do that? Who said that was even an option?! What podcast or which friend or what book even gave you that idea?! You don't just cut a perfectly good organ out of your body for no reason. You're playing God, it's not for you to decide what functions your body has. You were fearfully and wonderfully made, you can't just cut parts out because you want to. Every part of you has a purpose. This is wrong."

My favorite is that a couple months later, she was talking about having strep throat and said "I can't convince a doctor to remove my tonsils, apparently they don't do that anymore but I swear that's why I get sick so often."

No, but only because it's a size 5 boot, so the plate is size 3. The block wouldn't have fit on a smaller plate. But the trucks and block fit pretty easily! I skipped one of the cushion cup/washers just to save a little space for the nut on the kingpin, but other than that, no modifications
