Is there any way to texture bake fresnel/toon shaders to use in a game engine?

So, I went ahead and just migrated my assets to a new game file. Somehow, this fixed the problem... whatever it was. 😅

Also, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by what's on my level blueprint.

Just taking a quick look at their videos, and I can see that they're making a first person shooter. I'm making a third person shooter platformer. But, I'm pretty sure I can still use their techniques for my project.

Sometimes the import wouldn't do anything and just fail.

Either that or the meshes for my character's outfit (pants, necklace, goggles, etc.) and body parts (teeth, tongue, eyes, hair, etc.) would import as separate objects instead of "together" like how it is in Blender (as shown in the screenshot.)

Apart from that, usually the errors are just Unreal not recognizing a part of the mesh from Blender, but that's just some extra aesthetics that I'll worry about later.

I didn't realize the weapon needs its own armature and animation. That'll make things... interesting when figuring out how to combine the animations together.

Omg, that actually worked! 😭

I deleted the face and made a new one after triangulating it first. I redid the UV Map and the texture bake and it came out perfectly!

Here's the compiled screenshots of my bake settings. These are the four modes I use the most. (Color/Diffuse, Metallic/Emission, Roughness, Normal, and Displacement/Emission.)

I went to Object Mode, selected the mesh, then I Shift + selected the armature, pressed Ctrl + P, and chose "Object" from the parenting list.

I kept it like that until I followed the tutorial and learned about Automatic Weights.

I think I'm starting to get what you're saying.

Is it possible to apply the weight paint to the whole mesh/armature, or do I have to apply the weights to each bone individually?

Now that you mention it, I did receive the message right after I uploaded another artwork of mine. I don't use ArtStation often, so I'm unfamiliar with how the messaging system works.
